Este es el mejor día para escapar del ajetreo y el bullicio de la ciudad. Disfrute de un servicio gratuito de recogida en el hotel temprano en la mañana o al medio día, dependiendo de a qué hora desea comenzar su recorrido. Después de una breve introducción, disfrute de un paseo en un 4 * 4 landcruiser durante unos 40 minutos y entre en este famoso parque nacional. El parque se encuentra a pocos kilómetros al noreste de Arusha, aunque la puerta principal está a 25 km al este de la ciudad y a 35 km del Aeropuerto Internacional del Kilimanjaro (KIA). El Parque Nacional Arusha tiene una rica variedad de vida silvestre. A pesar del pequeño tamaño del parque, los animales comunes incluyen jirafas, búfalos del Cabo, cebras, jabalíes, el mono Colón blanco y negro, el mono azul, flamenco, elefante, león y muchos otros animales africanos. Las poblaciones de leopardo están presentes, pero rara vez se ven. La vida de las aves en el bosque es prolífica, con muchas especies forestales más fáciles de ver aquí que en cualquier otra parte de la ruta turística: el trogon de Narina y el trogon de cola de barra son posibles puntos destacados para los observadores de aves visitantes, mientras que la variedad de especies de estorninos proporciona un interés algo menos llamativo. The tour said "hotel or airport pickup" and I applied because there was Kilimanjaro International Airport on the list of pickup locations, but Kilimanjaro International Airport paid $80 in cash because it required an additional fee. Also, when I got the appointment time of 7am, they didn't pick me up, and when I contacted them, they said they hadn't heard from Vaitor, so they picked me up more than 40 minutes late.
Wonderful experience, Shiraz was so friendly and knowledgeablw, looked after us so well , was a great spotter and guide. Fabulous 👌
We had an extra day in Arusha before starting our Kilimanjaro hike, and this was the perfect half day excursion to get us out of the hotel without being too strenuous given the jet lag. Ben and Linus picked us up from our hotel to take us to the park. Ben left to arrange park payment fees and Linus drove us up to the park and gave us our tour. We saw baboons, blue monkeys, colobus monkeys, giraffes, zebras, Cape buffalo, warthogs, flamingos, and much more. We had a great time with our knowledgeable guide.
The trip was offered in German, which was also a booking criterion for us. But all in English. No information that the pick-up time is moving from 7.00 am to 1.00 pm
In the park there are mainly giraffes, zebras and warthogs. There are many flamingos and other waterfowl at the lake. Since there is a lot of woodland and otherwise often very dense bushes, animals were not as well observed here as in more open terrain. If you already have safari experience, you probably won't see any new highlights here. Although there are certainly elephants and also leopards. So that's what you should be prepared for. But it is a nice and varied tour. For the safari novice this is a great way to get started before heading to Tarangire and Ngorongoro

This was the best way to spend our free day in Arusha . We booked this early morning tour and our guide was prompt in picking us from our hotel. The vegetation is awesome and the sparsely populated monkeys jumping from tree to tree. Though not many animals, but everything was great
