The crew on the jolly pirate snorkel and rope swing was lots of fun. So friendly, funny and helpful! We had a great time, but we think the pirates hid all the alcohol for when they got off work. The drinks were nothing but fruit punch. I am a lightweight- a half a drink usually gets me tipsy. I had 5 and all I felt was a lot of icky juice in my tummy. Don’t build up the bar if you’re not going to serve alcohol in the drinks. You could take lessons from the Jolly Roger in Barbados. Arg!
The crew made the experience lots of fun, drinks flowing, rope swinging was so much fun snorkeling was a bust just because of the rough water which the crew could not control
Snorkeling was good and kids loved the swing from the ship
Thank you so much for your review! Great to hear that you and your family had so much fun snorkeling and rope swinging with the Jolly Pirates Crew!! Come back any time!!
The trip was a lot of fun. The ship wreck was very cool and we saw turtles at the second stop. The rope swing was a lot of fun.

We recently took the 9:00 AM Jolly Pirate Tour, and it was an absolute highlight of our trip! Driving to their location right on Palm Beach was incredibly easy and convenient. While Jolly Pirates is slightly more expensive than some of the other boat tours, the high-energy entertainment, excellent food, unlimited drinks, and fantastic crew make it worth every extra penny. Here is a breakdown of our experience and a few tips to help you make the most of your trip: The Snorkeling (3 Different Spots) Spot 1: The Antilla Sunken Ship – The water visibility wasn’t quite as crystal-clear as we’d seen on YouTube or read in other reviews, but we could still clearly see the massive wreck. A major highlight was that my son was actually able to dive down and touch the ship, which sits about 18 to 20 feet below the surface! Spot 2: Calmer Waters – A great, much less choppy spot to easily get in the water and swim around. Spot 3: Near Tres Trapi Beach – We spent the majority of our time here, and it was fantastic. this was the only spot where we got to see a sea turtle! PRO-TIP: Swim towards the beach/shore rather than just staying near the boat. There are way more fish closer to the shallow shore. The Famous Rope Swing The rope swing is tons of fun, but the line gets very long immediately. My Advice: Don't rush out of the water early just to stand in the queue. The crew keeps the swing open for a really long time. Had I known this, I would have stayed snorkeling at the Tres Trapi spot longer and just done the swing near the end when the crowd thinned out. The Food & Drinks The lunch was excellent! They served up delicious ribs, chicken legs, and great drink options. We were also really happy to see they accommodated dietary preferences with a tasty bean burrito for vegetarians. Crowds & Vibe It was definitely a packed day. Our boat had about 60 people on board, and the area was busy with another Jolly Pirate ship and several other tour catamarans nearby. However, the tour guides were so entertaining, attentive, and fun that the crowd didn't take away from the experience at all. Highly recommended for families looking for a lively, fun-filled, and hassle-free day on the water!

Our family of 4 (kids are 21 & 18), did the afternoon cruise with snorkeling. The whole process was extremely easy to line up. I suggest doing everything online, including waivers. It was fun from start to finish! The crew was awesome, informative, engaging and did well with the drinks. The standard drinks are OK, refreshing and too strong. The snorkeling spots were cool. Plenty of fish and plenty of time to explore at each area. The swing off the boat was the highlight! People of all ages, shapes and sizes did it and it was fun! Everyone cheered no matter if you face planted or flipped. It’s a great way to meet new people from all over the globe too. Would definitely recommend and would definitely do it again!
