El título "La nueva meca del graffiti", que el Guardián inglés atribuyó a Atenas, no es más que aleatorio. Atenas ahora ocupa un lugar destacado entre los más famosos por sus ciudades de arte callejero. Disfrute de un paseo privado de 4 horas por Atenas y conozca, admire y fotografíe su escena de Street Art, tal como ha sido moldeada a través de obras de artistas callejeros famosos como WD, iNO y Moralez. Explore algunos de los distritos más conocidos de Atenas, como Psyrri y Exarchia, y descubra su carácter único a través de los murales, las plantillas y los graffitis que los decoran.

Itinerario
Después de reunirse con un miembro del equipo Be a Greek fuera de la estación de metro Panepistimio, disfrutará de un recorrido a pie de 4 horas en los barrios más alternativos y auténticos de Atenas, durante el cual tendrá la oportunidad de familiarizarse con el arte callejero ateniense escena.
Comenzaremos desde Exarchia, un barrio conocido por su aura artística y estudiantil. Artistas callejeros exclusivos como WD, STMTS, Sonke e iNO han dado un toque especial al paisaje urbano, destacando este vecindario y haciéndolo famoso en todo el mundo. En Exarchia también tendremos la oportunidad de relajarnos mientras disfrutamos de nuestro café en una cafetería local, decorada con graffitis anamórficos únicos.
Continuando nos encontraremos en Psyrri, descubriendo tanto su carácter turístico como alternativo, mientras admiramos algunas de las obras de arte más famosas y bellas, como el famoso perro Loukanikos (salchicha en griego), que atestigua la situación sociopolítica de nuestro país. En esta parte de la caminata, tendremos la oportunidad de hablar, entre otras cosas, sobre el increíble artista Aquiles y conocer algunas de sus obras únicas.
Dejando atrás Psyrri, pasaremos por la zona peatonal de Kerameikos, admirando el contraste entre las antiguas exhibiciones de Kerameikos y las obras de arte contemporáneas de la zona. Después de unos minutos llegaremos a uno de los aspectos más destacados de nuestro recorrido, los enormes murales de DaVinci creados por las manos de iNO, sin duda un exquisito ejemplo del arte callejero ateniense. Al llegar a la estación de metro Kerameikos, nuestro recorrido llegará a su fin, después de haber disfrutado de un día lleno de fotos y una experiencia increíble.

Within the “art walk” she gives you the meat of what it means to be an Athenian, both in past history and recent history. Bianca gave an amazing tour of Athens and its vibrant street art. We saw some very interesting and evocative art produced by a collection of passionate artists. The tour was enhanced by Bianca’s knowledge of how local social and political issues drove much of the art. She was also friendly, upbeat and spoke fluent English.

It felt like we got a behind the scene tour of Athens! Without this tour we feel that we would have left Athens not truly understating the full and true landscape and culture of Athens. It would be near impossible to truly understand and appreciate the amazing street art of Athens without the spectacular storytelling from Bianca. Bianca from "Be a Greek" is truly the best guide you can imagine for the graffitti / street art tour. She is really passionate about the subject and can teach you all about the artists and artworks. In addition, she was very good at telling about the recent history of Athens and relating events related to the districts of Exarchia and Psyrri. The tour is 150% recommended and I would book another tour with Bianca at any time.
I was looking to see some special after visiting the classic Athenian sites. This walking tour was outstanding. As a photographer, I knew this tour would give me great opportunities but it was much more than that. Bianca was my guide and was exceptionally well versed in this subject. She had a deep understanding of who the artists are and what the artists are trying to convey. Bianca made this tour very special for me. If you want to see another side of Athens, I would encourage you to take this tour.

My husband and I had a most interesting day walking and talking w/ our guide Antonis. We saw fabulous examples of the artists making mostly social commentary on what is happening in Greece today. We had discussions of what life is like in Greece and what are the social issues facing the Greeks. We enjoyed learning about the current day society and how history is still influencing it. If you want to know about Greece today go to where the people live and express themselves. A very well spent day!
