We had a great time with Alonso, we were a group of 5 people that enjoyed every minute of the tour and the time we spent in this great tour, he introduced us the ingredients of Perú since the Incas time like potatoes chilies and special fruits like chirimoya and lúcuma the food in the restaurants it was unbelievable as a group of 5 we could have more different traditional dishes from Arequipa making the experience more unique, we highly recommend this tour with Alonso!
Alonso was absolutely amazing, happy guy who is very enthusiastic. Loves to tell you about the food and city he loves! Would absolut recommend: 10 out 10! Ps. We were so full, did not need dinner 😆
Alonso is a friendly, knowledgeable guide who knows the history of every single dish and shares it with great enthusiasm. We learned about the history of pisco, and I was fascinated by the Japanese-Peruvian fusion cuisine, which is as much a part of the tour as traditional dishes from Arequipa. We were full and satisfied! Worth every penny ☺️
Alonso is a fantastic Guide! During our tour he showed the best places in the city, and in the process he tells the most beautiful stories that are genuinely interesting. Besides the information about the city, it was also about the food, and that was really fantastic! The Peruvian flavours melt together in your mouth to create a real taste explosion, and a delicious Pisco sour. The beauty of Alonso is his passion for the Pisco and the food, so he has a beautiful story with every dish. In short, really worth it
We did this gastronomic tour in Arequipa as a family and it was a wonderful experience, largely thanks to our guide. From the first moment he was close, patient and very knowledgeable, explaining each dish and each story with passion and clarity. You could see that he loves what he does and enjoys sharing the culture of Arequipa, even adapting to the rhythm of going with children, which is greatly appreciated. We tasted delicious food, learned a lot and felt accompanied all the time. I highly recommend this tour, especially for the human and professional quality of the guide. It makes all the difference!
