The captain was warm, friendly and very much enjoyed sharing his knowledge of the area with us. The boat was comfortable and we had a lovely afternoon. Highly recommend!
The tour was canceled on the day we had scheduled due to weather so we were able to go the day before. It was just us two! David, the captain of the vessel, made the experience an amazing one. Although the waters were a bit rough, he maintained the ship very well. The catamaran was definitely luxury.
Just the four of us and the trip was focused on our interests of the area during World War II. The owner and skipper, a kind and charming young man, gave us some history of his family and their experiences during that time.
Luxury Catamaran with experienced local sailor who understands world history and the history of his home
Was excellent start to finish. Saw the things we hoped to see and more. Stories were interesting, treats hit the spot, hot chocolate was appreciated by all. Boat was very comfortable, scenery amazing.
Very nice cruise to discover the Norwegian fiords. Thanks to Hakon for his welcome and the comfort of his catamaran! We are in a very small group. It’s the TOP. Thank you for these beautiful unforgettable moments. Céline family Robert
Such a great trip with a wonderful guide. Arno/Arnault was friendly and professional. He gave us some history of Tromsø and even took us to a former NATO submarine base. The boat was clean and had snacks and drinks. The views were beautiful.
It was an enjoyable cruise. Beautiful scenery. The ship captain was knowledgeable and very experienced and was able to share interesting insights on cruise.
Great experience! The skippers were really friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable. Boat was well equipped and we had some amazing views of the fjords.
Absolutely awful. If I could give zero stars I would. Completely unprofessional company. We booked the day tour with them on October 22nd 2024. They called us 45 minutes before we were meant to leave to let us know the trip had been cancelled because “another boat hit them overnight”. They called us and did not give us any proof of cancellation so it says I still went on the trip. They did not seem apologetic and did not even offer to rebook our tour. I still have not been refunded and it has been over two weeks. Please do not book with this company, I feel like I got scammed.
Dear Romina Thank you for sharing your feedback. I genuinely apologize for the experience you had with us, and I understand how frustrating this situation must be for you. Unfortunately, we were involved in an incident where another boat collided with ours, which led to the cancellation of your tour for safety reasons. The police where contacted and because of insurance we couldn’t go out before a mechanic had overlooked the damage of our boat. We had to prioritize the safety of our guests, and I regret that this caused you inconvenience. It’s truly disheartening for us as well, as we are being punished for circumstances beyond our control. No one wants to deal with such incidents, and it’s not easy for us to cancel tours and disappoint our valued customers. I understand that you did not receive proof of cancellation, and I apologize for that oversight. If you booked through GetYourGuide, I encourage you to reach out to them for assistance with your refund. However, you can also contact me directly at booking@northernyachting.com, and I will do my best to help resolve this issue for you. You should of course get your refund. Again, I’m sorry for the stress this has caused you, and I appreciate your understanding in this matter. We hope to have the opportunity to serve you better in the future. Best regards, Frøydis Enga
