He was simply excellent and I'd recommend anybody to take this tour with him. The bicycling was light and easy enough for anyone of a moderate level fitness.

This is the best way to see Anuradhapura whilst getting some gentle exercise. We visited areas between the main Stupas which are inaccessible by car and too far to walk. Saranga was an excellent guide, he explained the history and spiritual significance of all we saw. The snack stop had excellent dhaal cookies and hoppers. The bikes were well maintained and the riding easy. This has been one of the best experiences we have had in Sri Lanka.

What a fantastic trip this was! If you are really interested in Budism and love nature, then you really should book this tour. He gives you the background and mechanics of faith and nature. Saranga speaks very good English and that makes everything easy to follow. And then lunch... great local food and different from the calibrated curry.

This is the best way to explore the sights of Anuradhapura! Saranga really added a lot of value to our visit, not only by telling us about what we saw and visited, but also by enlightening us about the meaning of Buddhism. The bikes are great, mineral water all the way and some local delicious snacks en route. He stays away from main roads, and the backroads are a lot of fun. And even more important, a lot of it in the shade of magnificent trees, so it never felt too hot. We did the afternoon tour and it felt more quiet than it probably would have been in the morning. Highly recommendable!

charming guide Saranga. He took us to the highlights of the old town, informed us about Buddhism, let us feast on the locals and took our time for everything. The bit through the village and agriculture is beautiful. One of our highlights during our trip.

Super fun bike tour with a great guide. Very varied tour. You get a very nice impression of Budism and Anuradhapura. But especially the wise life lessons of the guide based on Budism were very inspiring and beautiful. For the adolescents sometimes not yet fully understandable, but hopefully we have planted seeds for when they get a bit older. In any case, very nice memories!
