Great guide. I have done Segway before my partner had not. The guide gave him a short introduction and then we got on with it. The tour itself was not as full of interesting facts as some of the other tours I have down. It was nice to be out in open spaces to play a bit on the segways. It’s a good way as ever to get an introduction to the town. Now I will go and explore points that interested me. Excellent safety care from the guide. A pit stop for a coffee or soft drink k would have been nice!
In the middle of a heat wave, this Segway tour was perfect. We rode on mainly shady paths with a built-in breeze. Anabelle, our guide, was professional, humorous, friendly, and informative. Would highly recommend any time of year!
Friendly people and a nice tour with interesting explanations. Very unfortunate that the segway only went up to 10 km/h. Where there is a lot of people, this is very understandable, but on the bike path and certain lanes it would have been nice to be able to go a little faster. This way we might as well have done him on foot.
Merci pour votre retour, nous sommes ravis que vous ayez apprécié la visite. Concernant la vitesse des segway nous comprenons que cela soit frustrant mais pour des questions de sécurité et d'assurance nous sommes obligés de la limiter. A bientôt, L'équipe Mobilboard
Great tour in Annecy by segway, which was a first for us! We arrived at the agency and the team was very professional: Welcoming, explanations, safety instructions, etc. We then went to discover Annecy, a magnificent tour that went very well! Thank you to the whole team for this lovely time:-)
What a brilliant concept! We took the two hour tour. Family of 4 including a nervous, mum and ambivalent 17 yr daughter and gung-ho 25 year old boy. Tuition at the start for each of us. Amazing fun. First hour by the lake area. Great guiding and opportunity for photos and a bit of controlled max speed. Second hour through the winding streets, squares and churches. Everyone had huge smiles at the end. Can’t recommend highly enough!! Great guide.
The tour was great after arriving the afternoon before in Annecy on our road trip from uk. Learnt a lot about Annecy and its area
As an avid Segway tour enthusiast who has experienced these excursions across many cities, I was genuinely looking forward to exploring Annecy on two wheels. Unfortunately, this was by far the most underwhelming Segway tour I’ve taken. While Annecy is an undeniably beautiful town with rich history and charm, this 2-hour Segway tour failed to showcase it. The guide lacked energy and provided very limited commentary. A good guide can truly make or break the experience, and in this case, it felt like there was little effort to engage the group or share the city’s culture, cuisine, or history. Here’s a breakdown of the experience: First Hour: A very slow-paced ride with minimal narrative. After just an hour, we returned to the starting point to drop off guests who had booked the 1-hour tour—an awkward interruption that made the tour feel disjointed. Second Hour: The second leg took us along the river path to a blue bridge, where we paused for 5 minutes. The guide had already warned us there would be "nothing to say" at this point, which set the tone. We arrived at a location strewn with beer bottles and were encouraged to take pictures. The slow pace and lack of content made this leg feel more like a passive stroll than an engaging tour. At no point did we receive recommendations on where to eat, what local specialties to try (like tartiflette, reblochon, or diots), nor did we get much insight into Annecy’s rich history. A couple on the tour mentioned how much better the walking tour was—covering the Old Town and packed with historical context and recommendations. I can now see why. Recommendation: If you've never ridden a Segway before, the 1-hour option might offer just enough of a novelty to enjoy the ride. However, for returning riders or those hoping to explore Annecy in depth, the 2-hour tour is unfortunately a waste of time and money in its current format. Segway tours should be fun, informative, and led by guides who are passionate about the place they’re showcasing. Sadly, this felt like a missed opportunity in a city that deserves so much better.
Nice tour of the lake area. We were in a group with mostly french speakers so we had to wait while they had their talk and then the talented tour guide had to repeat herself in English. Would have preferred to be in a single language group to save time. Also would have liked more time off the segway for the 2 hour tour.
Superb walk around the lake and in the old town thanks to @Zoe who is a top guide. His youthful dynamic spirit and humor allowed us to enjoy these 2 hours in his company So to do but with @ Zoe only
You put Zoe-nergy into our day! Thank you for your good humor, your explanations at the top and your impeccable sense of direction. A guide like you, Zoe-ve!
