Annapurna Circuit Trek

I recently completed the Annapurna Base Camp trek with Mount Mania Treks and Expedition, and it was truly an amazing experience. My brother and I did an 11 day trek of the Annapurna circuit with Mount Mania and had a great time! Binod and Rupak helped us customise the trekking to our wishes in advance and helped us prepare for the hike (great packing list and office meeting before the trek). Our experienced guide Mohan looked after us very well, which allowed us to enjoy the views without having to worry about food, accommodation or the altitude. Transport, accommodation and food were arranged perfectly.

Our experience with Mount Mania was exceptional. The initial communication with Rupak was efficient, detailed, and easy. He was able to create a personalised itinerary for our 8 day Anna Purna Circuit trek. The package itself was competitive including everything we needed for a comfortable trek. Including transport options, three meals a day, and great accommodation. We really felt like we did not have to worry about anything aside from the hike. On top of all this we had an amazing experience with our guide and porter, Ngima & Brukesh. Ngima was the best guide we could have asked for. He delivered a service that felt extremely professional yet also fun which is credit to his 25 years trekking / guide experience. Ngima was always 2 steps ahead e.g. pre booking accomodation days in advance, placing our breakfast & dinner orders with kitchen before peak times, checking weather conditions and tailoring the days accordingly, my partner also got altitude sickness on the last day and we were so grateful to have Ngima there to help get him back to a full recovery quickly and continue with the hike. Our porter Brukesh was amazing, he was always prompt at making sure all our bags were packed on time and in the mornings would check our room to make sure nothing was left behind. Brukesh was reliable and consistent the whole time with him reaching the next village before us, and our bags already in our room before we get there. I was solo traveling (26yrs old girl) when I did the Thorong La Pass trek with Mount Mania — and it turned out to be one of the most memorable experiences of my life. One of the best parts was the flexibility to customize the route: I was able to include a detour to Tilicho Lake, which was absolutely worth it, and adjust the pacing to match what I felt like doing. It never felt rigid or rushed — just like a true adventure. My guide, Balu, was calm, professional, and kind. He handled all the logistics, looked out for my safety, and quietly supported me throughout the journey. I always felt like I was in good hands, without ever losing the sense of freedom that comes with solo travel. Along the way, I met other trekkers and naturally, people talked about their agencies and packages. Many of them were surprised by how much I got included in my Mount Mania package for such a competitive price. Some even said they wished they'd found this agency before booking theirs — and I completely understand why. The personal touch and attention to detail is really what sets Mount Mania apart. I did the Annapurna Circuit (14 days) with Balu Acharya. From the organizational point of view, everything worked great. As expected, I was picked up from the airport on time, was well informed about the tour and felt comfortable and in very good hands right from the start. I was really impressed with my guide Balu. I already noticed after our first evening that the vibe between us was right and we were going to have a good time. Balu is communicative and very cheerful and knows the route well. So I could concentrate entirely on hiking and enjoying the landscape. He adapted to my pace and wishes on the route and was always attentive if I needed anything. I was able to ask questions at any time and learned a lot about the country and culture through him. In the evenings in the lodges, he wasn't above joining other travelers in a group and playing various rounds of dumbball. A highlight after the tour was my birthday, which I was able to celebrate with Balu and his family at Balu's invitation, which was a really nice end to my trip to Nepal. With Balu you not only gain an experienced guide who shines with punctuality, humor and the odd dance performance, but also a friend who I would like to visit again on my next trip to Nepal. I had a really great time and flew back home full of love. I can highly recommend it, gladly again.

We had an amazing experience trekking through Annapurna with our guide Balu, he was kind, caring and very knowledgeable. The experience was once in a lifetime and I would highly recommend Balu as he really added to our experience and made us feel safe and comfortable the entire time.

The intake was very professional with a clear communication and Binod kept into account our wishes. My wife got a very friendly porter, who was always helpful. We felt safe with Binod, he knew the rules of acute mountain sickness and arranged always a fine accomodation with good and reliable food, which is not always evident above 3000 meter. Every evening we discussed the program for the next day. The knowledge of the culture , the food and the people who live there were shared with us. His positivism and loads of energy gaves us strength and motivation to conquer the Thorang- La pass. We are very satisfied and would choose Mount Mania again for our next hike in the Himalayas. Highly recommend supporting and booking with Mount Mania. I live in the mountains and backpack often. Didn’t think we needed a guide but so happy we decided to book Ganesh. It was much more than telling us which trail to take. The local knowledge and insight were beyond valuable in making our trip relaxing, safe and rewarding. I would also highly recommend booking private jeeps transports whenever possible. The roads are very rough and taking a bus just isn’t fun. Its worth the small price increase and gives you time to when you want. You can chat with the guide and driver about your preferences. We did the 9 day Annapurna trek with two weeks in Nepal. If possible book longer treks because being on the trail is the highlight. Pokhara is great for a few days. Kathmandu is also fun for 2-3 days. Mountain mania can also do guided city tours or just make recommendations
