The tour was great. Frederick, the driver was great. Laura our guide did the work of 2 covering both Spanish and English. Visiting Spain, France and Andorra was scenic and informative. So the low score is all based on the transfer option. Just know that it is only one way and they send a taxi to pick you up. It is so easy to get your own taxi here. The cost for us if we get our own taxi it costs us 10 euros one way. The transfer cost 45 dollars. Learn your distances and taxi costs before spending. The taxi driver was nice and timely as well.
Laura did an awesome job with communicating before and during the adventure. She kept everyone aware of what was going on and on time to keep the trip moving. It was an expected long day and we loved the experience to visit a lesser known country.
Laura our guide was brilliant very knowledgeable about all places we visited. Enjoy guided walk through Andorra with Laura and the visit to Mont Louis. Will certainly book again with Amigo tours.
Initial description was riding in a van, photo apps and a visit to Andorra. After they took my money they said it's not suitable for people with disabilities which I have. Very underhanded if I had known that up front I never would have booked it. I did call and attempt to cancel but they laughed and said too late we already have your money. It was over the 24-hour mark. It was also over the 24-hour mark that I got the message about it not being suitable for people with mobility issues. I wrote to them and now their emails are bouncing saying there's no such address. Don't do any business with this company they're just out to grab your money.
The sights on this trip were absolutely beautiful! The long ride allowed for a great view of the countryside. Our guide, Enrique, was very knowledgeable and entertaining. The only things I didn't like so much were 1) the bus was not very comfortable to travel in for that long because there was no leg space at all and 2) it would have been better if there was more time to spend in both France and Andorra. It felt a bit rushed at both places to see everything in a short amount of time.
It is a long day but there are plenty of bathroom and snack breaks. It’s a great way to see 3 countries in one day.
The trip itself was great but Viatar subcontracted with Amigo Tours, which resulted in a very poor experience for my daughter and myself. Amigo Tours offered me transport from my hotel to the pick up point for a fee (about double an uber) and then they basically called me an uber- which did not show up when it was supposed to. I spent half an hour trying to sort it out and got poor support from Amigo. A driver did show up 30 minutes late and we ALMOST missed out bus. The driver said he was late because he was only called to pick me up 5 minutes before his arrival. When I spoke with Amigo, they said the transport company claimed there was a big car accident blocking traffic and making communications with the driver difficult. This was a lie as our driver had no awareness of an accident and the streets were quiet. I asked Amigo to refund my transport fare and they said no. They said that I should be fine because I didn’t miss the bus. Bottom line- my daughter and I were told if we were 5 minutes late to the pick up, the car would leave and we would still have to pay. When the car was 30 minutes late, we were told “no harm, no foul”. Not the standard of customer service I expect from Viatar and when I told Amigo tours that I would complain, they said, “go ahead” and seemed Totally ambivalent about my experience.
Groups were quite large. Our guides were good. I didn’t realize it would be bilingual but I thought the guides did a great job speaking two languages. Our stop in France was at a military outpost village place where there were not restrooms easy to get to, no stores, a lot of things weren’t open. I’d skip the France part if I had a choice. We could have spent longer in Andorra. It was a pretty time of year to visit.
The experience is highly recommended! Very punctual for everything! The trip with Enrique and Dikra was really very pleasant and comfortable.
Amigo Tour provided an incredible experience. They sent all the necessary details via WhatsApp before our trip. The tour guide, Enrique, was incredibly funny, respectful, and professional in both Spanish and English. I highly recommend Amigo Tour if you’re looking to visit three countries in a single day! And don’t miss out on shopping in Andorra.
