We had the chance to taste the sacred offerings and even volunteer inside the community kitchen, an experience that left a lasting impression. It was both humbling and inspiring to witness the spirit of seva and learn more about Sikhism and Punjab’s rich traditions.

We had a wonderful and memorable trip to the Golden Temple thanks to our guide, Ravish. Ravish is extremely knowledgeable about the history of Amritsar and the Golden Temple. He also provided us with a good overview of Sikh history and culture. The Golden Temple is particularly stunning in the night and Ravish’s guided tour through the different areas of the Golden Temple complex, particularly the Langar Kitchen, was fascinating. Thanks to Ravish we were able to offer “seva” in the Holy Kitchen, which was a uniquely immersive and therapeutic experience. I booked the Golden Temple walking tour with Globe Trek Tours through their website. They replied quickly to my inquiry. I first came to Amritsar in 2025, but it was a rushed trip. My host in the city, Ravish, showed me around the Golden Temple. I always wanted to see the temple from inside, and on my special request he stood with me for two hours so I could enter the prayer hall. It was an amazing experience and the reason I came back again, since I missed it last time. This time, the tour was even better. Ravish took me to meditation points and a tower near the temple where I could see the city from above. It felt like an advanced version of the Golden Temple tour, and it was wonderful again. I also asked them to arrange a food tour and an old city tales tour the next day. Both were very special and informative. Highly trustworthy and rely on.

I don’t usually go for guided tours, but this time I booked one for the Golden Temple, and I’m so glad I did. The tour started after sunset, and the temple looked absolutely magical with its golden glow. My guide, Mandeep, was wonderful. She shared interesting stories about the Sikh Gurus, Amritsar, and the temple’s history. She even took me behind the towers for a special view that felt very exclusive. I also got to experience the langar in the free kitchen. Mandeep guided me so well that I didn’t waste any food on my plate. Later, I joined the bread-rolling assembly line, which was such a unique and memorable experience. The two hours went by so quickly because I was enjoying every moment. With great company, beautiful surroundings, and meaningful traditions, this tour turned out to be one of the best experiences I’ve ever had.

Night tour of golden temple was one of the favorite things to do in amritsar. The guide ronit was excellent, speak good english. Temple looks beautiful and stunning . I have been taken to special photography spot and tour was quiet planned and smooth

I can not describe the emotions felt at the temple. It is a sight for both your eyes and soul. We had a guide who told us the story of the temple as well as the lake surrounding the temple. We attend the darshan and had food. The service provided by the voluntaries at the temple is without any ego.

We booked the evening slot just before sunset and it turned out to be the perfect choice. Got to see the Golden Temple in both daylight and under the night lights – absolutely magical. The whole place had such a calming vibe. Our guide, Ronit, was amazing. Young, super friendly, and full of fresh views on the culture and religion. He really took the time to understand what we were interested in and paced the tour slowly so we could soak it all in. One of the highlights was the meditation point he took us to – we just sat there quietly and felt completely at peace. We also got a behind-the-scenes look at the temple kitchen, which was fascinating. Just a heads-up: the floors there can be a bit wet, but the rest of the temple was spotless. Our guide even helped us plan a visit to the Wagah Border the next day, which was so thoughtful. Overall, it was a beautiful experience and we truly enjoyed his company. Highly recommend this tour if you want something meaningful and relaxed.
