Descripción
Nagarkot se encuentra a 25 millas al este de Katmandú, Nepal. Está en el borde noreste del valle de Katmandú, a una altura de 6,800 pies sobre el nivel del mar. Es el lugar más pintoresco conocido por sus vistas del amanecer de los Himalayas. Puedes ver el Monte Everest con sus picos nevados desde una torre de observación. El antiguo templo hindú de Changu Narayan se encuentra en una colina elevada, también conocida como Changu. Este santuario está dedicado a Lord Visnu y es mantenido en especial reverencia por los hindúes. Este templo está considerado como el templo más antiguo de la historia de Nepal. Bhaktapur es la representación viva de cómo se habría visto todo el valle de Katmandú durante los períodos medievales. Itinerario: 04:30 am: su guía experto lo recoge en su hotel y conduce a Nagarkot. (Aproximadamente 1 hora de movimiento del carro) 05:30 am: Llega a Nagarkot y disfruta viendo Himalayan Sunrise desde el Observatorio. Puedes ver la magnífica vista de las montañas del Himalaya envueltas en un brillo matutino. Siente la magnífica naturaleza y energía del sol en todo el cuerpo.
08:00 am: comenzar el turismo en el templo de Changu Narayan 09:00 am: Conducir para Bhaktapur Durbar Square
09:30 am: Comience su visita a la plaza Bhaktapur Durbar 11:30 am: Almuerzo en el restaurante local (pago propio) 12:30 pm: Entrega en su hotel

The weather was great for the sunrise view, although the hazy air pollution meant the view was not very clear, thus not really able to see Everest. The guide was knowledgeable and a decent driver. The sites were nice to see. The tour was about 4.5 hrs, 5am-9:30am, so not necessary for a lunch stop as noted.

I loved just touring the different squares and temples. It felt very catered to us. Our guide was very informative. He even took us to see healing bowls and to a grocery store to find some authentic goods.
