Comenzaremos este maravilloso recorrido yendo por usted al lobby de su hotel. Prepara tu cámara, las ganas de pasar un buen rato, y únete a este recorrido como ningún otro.
Altamira es un lugar encantador y un parque ecológico lleno de rincones para tomar hermosas fotografías. Disfruta tomando fotos increíbles de la mano de uno de los gigantes de madera, ¡hay más de uno de ellos! Además, cuentan con senderos naturales y mucha naturaleza para que disfrutes al máximo.
Nuestra próxima parada será en Hobbitenango, un parque ecológico inspirado en la película El Señor de los Anillos y el Hobbit. Estamos seguros de que sus atractivos serán algo que te encantará. Disfruta de las casas tipo hobbit, los juegos inspirados en las películas, los caminos naturales, y sus más de 12 miradores, además de tomar una espectacular foto de la mano del gigante que cuida el bosque según la leyenda. ¡Estamos seguros de que será un tour que no puedes olvidar!

I have been lucky to meet Rubén Alonso, who is a guide with excellent knowledge of Guatemalan culture, and he also knows the best places to visit, shop, and enjoy, as well as take great photos. Regarding the excursion, I liked it a lot; I think it is ideal for children or nature lovers and hobbits.

Altamira is a must-see attraction. It is a park that features sculptures of hands, birds, and other objects and is located on a hill overlooking the city of Antigua, offering stunning views of the volcanoes and the valley. The park is a social media paradise, with plenty of photo ops and Instagram-worthy spots. You can climb on the hands, pose with the birds, or enjoy the scenery from different angles. The first hand you'll run into is the highest and offers the best view, but it is not for the faint-hearted, as it is very steep and narrow. If you prefer a more comfortable and safe option, there are more hands as you go on, and they are easier to access and still offer great views. The park is bigger than you would think, so plan to be there for some time, and explore all the corners and hidden gems. You'll have to pay and get a ticket before walking into the area, and the price is reasonable for the experience. One thing to note is that there are a LOT of stairs, so be prepared for a workout 💪

The best part of the trip was the transportation. We had a private, very comfortable shuttle to and from Altamira.

We arrived just when the coronavirus problems started and arriving we were attended by Javier the manager an excellent host, he facilitated everything on our arrival and made our stay much more pleasurable as our waiter Marcos who made us feel at home we hope to return soon to that incredible place

Our tour guide, Jennifer, was informational, enthusiastic, and went above and beyond for us! Not only did she teach us and show us so much of Altamira and Hobbitenango she was so generous helping us take pictures, suggesting what to eat, etc. Her passion for tourism was evident from the moment we met her and it made the tour unforgettable. Truly the best tour guide I've ever had in any of the countries and tours I've been on! I miss Jennifer!!
