The river cruise was excellent, both interesting and informative. The tour guide (narrator, I’m not sure what his title is) was knowledgeable and told silly jokes that made us laugh (and sometimes moan!) Unfortunately, the dinner was absolutely awful. The baked beans, which were sitting on the table when we arrived, were not only barely warm but so spicy as to be inedible. The ribs, which had no taste, weren’t fully cooked . The fried chicken was okay. The only really good part of the meal were the waffle fries. The music was deafening. I asked for the volume to be turned down (there were multiple speakers throughout) and the manager told me it wasn’t possible. Not believing that she actually said that, I said, “You mean to tell me there’s no volume control button?” She said there wasn’t. She had told the woman who booked our excursion (I went with a group from the graduated facility where I live) that there were speakers throughout and that they couldn’t lower the volume because then people at the back wouldn’t be able to hear the music. So, she contradicted herself. There was also confusion about whether drinks were included; I had called before going to ask about non-alcoholic drinks, and the lady I spoke with said water and iced tea were included. The waiter said only water was included.
We had such a fun and enjoyable experience! This is actually the third time we've done this event. The first time was back in 1997, and every time we travel here, we make sure to come back because it's always such a great
The only reason I gave it a 4 out of five because when you think BBQ you usually have ribs and chicken pieces not tenders. The ribs had more of a boiled prior to grill taste, did I mention chicken strips? The sides (beans and coleslaw) were good. The entertainment was entertaining and enjoyable. Looking at all of the yachts and stories that went with tour were entertaining and funny. I would recommend.
Alot for the price. Great instructor. Funny and informative. Food was great. Beautiful island. Awesome sites.
Great cruise to enjoy with family. Great show to experience with family and friends. Great staff A1 on the staff i wouldn't change a thing about this experience.
Definitely not worth the money. They advertise as all you can eat but give you 45mins to find seating and actually eat. The ribs were not soft at all. The chicken tenders were mid. The only good thing they had was the cornbread. You have to pay for everything else.
Wasted time on arriving as requited, food was terrible and regular drinks (soda, tea, etc) and desserts were pay as you go at exorbitant prices.
Viator is horrible the service was not good . I was unable to add my child to my reservation . However my experience in the jungle queen was amazing
It was the perfect amount of time to keep things moving from one thing to another. I have a teen with me and was worried it might feel too long for 4 hours and it was just perfect
The boat ride was great, the curator told us all about the history of the homes we saw. The island was beautiful. There were different types of parrots to view . The gator inclosure was closed due to heavy rains, the gators had to be moved to another location. The food was 2 stars at best. The coleslaw and cornbread were the best. The beans were alright but too much pepper. The ribs were pretty good if you eat pork. Many of my family members do not eat pork so they were left eating hard dry chicken tenders. When they said BBQ chicken and ribs we just assumed it would be real chicken like wings, drumsticks, thighs, or breast! The show was definitely the main attraction! And it was awesome. We learned to tell a song through dance. My grandkids really enjoyed that part. There was plenty of seating and exploring the island took just a few minutes. And whatever you do please purchase your parking ticket on the boat! We paid $50 instead of $20!
