Even though I was in communication with the tour until the last minute, when I headed to the meeting place on the day, there was no one there. When I contacted him suspiciously, he replied, "Tickets are unavailable today." The person in charge said it was a problem with the system, but if that was the case, I wanted to know beforehand. I was looking forward to it and it's ruined.

Although Abu Simbel is a 2½ hour coach ride each way from Aswan it is one of the wonders of the world and should not be missed. These are two temples there situated next to Lake Nasser and the place is just awesome.
