Safari de 3 días con todo incluido en Kruger desde Nelspruit

We stayed for 3D2N. The staff were very welcoming and the guide was super professional as well. We had 3 safari experience and saw something unique each time. The first time had 3 lions crossing the road right by our vehicle, the second time got to see the scarce leopard, and the last time we witnessed an “elephant funeral” where a very old elephant fell down probably due to sickness and had many other elephants around it protecting it from the predators, vultures and scavengers. Other than these highlights, we saw many different animals each time. We saw 4 out of the big 5, only missing the rhino, but still a fantastic experience overall.

Power cuts are likely. We had no power until 2nd afternoon. Take a battery pack for phones, especially if using phone for photos. Advertised as 3 day but collected at 11am on Monday and back at hotel 12 lunch Wednesday (49hours) we did a game drive Monday evening and a full day on Tuesday. Then back to hotel Wednesday morning. Food was well cooked even with power cut. Bit hot overnight with no aircon due to power cut and couldn’t open doors or window in room due to insects getting in.

We had a good stay in a beautiful lodge, but the service remains expensive for what is offered. Lodge located 15 minutes from the entrance gates of Kruger Park. The friendly staff is very appreciated. Hearty and good meals, unfortunately no barbecue in the evening as it is marked on the site. 1 bottle of wine offered by reservation, but it must be claimed otherwise we are not told. Friendly meals all together with the other rooms of the lodge. Clean and functional room. Wifi OK. Curtains not opaque for light. We were able to observe several animals right outside our room like a giraffe, kudus, mongooses, wildebeest etc. PEC from our hotel in Nelspruit with 1 hour delay, also brought back to our hotel at the end. We found that the other groups who stayed longer than us had +++ schedule changes, without explanations or refunds ... we were happy to have stayed only 3 days. The 3 safaris we did were great, our guide Pindha was very good too. Stopping when asked to take pictures, driving slowly and asking other guides for information during the day about where to look. Gives many very interesting explanations about animals and their environment. Be careful early in the morning and late at night it is very cold! We had the chance to see all the animals offered by this safari, except the rhino unfortunately. If it were to be done again, we would take everything on our own to avoid the rather large additional cost of the service, but it takes more time to arrange.

We truly enjoyed the game drives and the food was good, but Viator description of BBQ and dinner under the stars was inaccurate (only dinners were served inside in the communal dining room, no bbq). Additionally, we were caught by surprise at needing to pay Kruger entrance fees all three days. That should be clear in the description as it significantly increases the price of the activity.

Small lodge and friendly staff. Game drives were amazing! Accommodated to dietary preferences but there could have been more clarity about the package when booking. Would’ve helped to know the details of the driver beforehand along with a schedule
