Nos reuniremos en un punto céntrico de fácil acceso en los alrededores de la Alhambra. Su Guía Oficial Experto le dará una cálida bienvenida y les hará entrega de sus entradas al monumento. (El lugar exacto de encuentro se le confirmará unos días antes de la visita para garantizar la máxima puntualidad).
Iniciamos el recorrido donde los sultanes buscaban la paz. Nos adentraremos en el Palacio del Generalife, un oasis de agua, luz y vegetación exuberante. Seremos testigos del Patio de la Acequia, donde el ingenio hidráulico de los nazaríes crea un espectáculo sonoro y visual inigualable. El ambiente nos permitirá percibir los aromas del jardín y disfrutar de las fuentes sin la sensación de estar rodeados de multitudes.
Recorreremos el Paseo de las Torres, donde cada fortificación guarda su propia leyenda y revela la importancia del sistema defensivo de la ciudadela. Después, nos adentraremos en los restos de la Medina, la antigua ciudad palatina de los funcionarios, donde su guía nos desvelará historias, curiosidades y la vida cotidiana de quienes habitaron la Alhambra.

The Alhambra tour was extremely interesting. Our guide, Barha (probably misspelled, sorry!) was extremely knowledgeable and spoke excellent English. He provided historical information about the people, empires, religious differences and preferences, architecture, water sources and hydrology, botanical information, and basic observations that added so much more than we expected. Great tour and great guide! Highly recommend this for everyone visiting Granada.
Our tour guide, Cristina was amazing!!! She was very knowledgeable and considerate to all my family needs during our tour time. She made the experience memorable and wish to have her again for future tours in Granada.

The truth is that despite the heat and more than 4 hours of touring, it was very enjoyable thanks to José Antonio's guidance, his anecdotes, and telling the history of the Alhambra in an entertaining way. Beautiful experience

If you are staying in Granada city take a taxi to the Alhambra as it's uphill. The walk back through the tree lined pathway is a lovely stroll. We had a lovely tour guide, Natalia. The tour was very interesting. The Alhambra, it's gardens and views are breathtaking. Don't miss this if you are staying in or near Granada.

Enrique told us passionately about the Alhambra and its turbulent history! Thank you. We had a lovely air conditioned van. Would recommend booking early to get the Nasrid palace tickets but we still had an amazing tour.

Day started well, we arrived at the meeting point early, driver arrived and checked everyone's names off a list and we set off for Alhambra from Malaga. We were told we would not have free time in Granada as there was a race going on in the town that day, not a problem, we had breakfast at a restaurant outside the Alhambra. Tour guide met us at the designated meeting point and we took the guided tour of both the Alhambra & the Palace. Tour finished at 3.20pm & that is when the tour guide left, telling us to be at the meeting point for the return journey at 3.45pm. We went for a cold drink & then arrived at the meeting point at exactly 3.45pm as I checked my watch, there was no sign of the bus but just presumed it had been held up in traffic. After about 15 minutes was getting a bit concerned & at that point noticed that there was no-one we recognised from our bus in the morning. I then phoned Viator who tried phoning Discovering Spain but said they didn't answer and they would send an email. I waited for a response, at 4.22pm I started to get Whatsapp messages from Discovering Spain. They said that the guide accompanied everyone to the meeting point and the driver did a checklist & didn't leave until 3.54pm. All of that was a lie as the guide left us outside the Alhambra at 3.20pm and if the driver had done a checklist he would have realised we weren't there. We arrived at 3.45pm so he couldn't have left at 3.54pm. Outcome was we were told there was nothing they could do & to find our own way back to Malaga at our expense. Will never book with this company again.

We understand how stressful it must have been to realize you had missed the return transfer. We would, however, like to clarify a few points. Our direct contact details were included on your Viator voucher and were also sent to you by both email and WhatsApp a few days before the tour, together with the full itinerary. In situations like this, contacting us directly is always the fastest way for us to provide immediate assistance. The scheduled departure time from the meeting point was 3:45 pm, meaning all participants were required to be there before that time. Unfortunately, your group was the only one that did not arrive for departure. As communicated previously, the guide and driver followed the standard procedures in place for the tour. The first notification we received regarding the issue came through an email from Viator approximately 45 minutes after the bus had already departed. Had we been informed directly and immediately when you were unable to locate the vehicle, there would have been a possibility of contacting the driver while still nearby. However, once the coach was already well on its way back to Málaga, turning around was no longer a viable option for the rest of the passengers on board. While we sincerely regret this unfortunate situation and understand your frustration, we cannot assume responsibility for the transportation costs resulting from a missed departure and a delayed notification. Nevertheless, we appreciate you sharing your experience and are sorry that this misunderstanding overshadowed what should have been a memorable visit to one of Spain’s most remarkable monuments. We had a good guide just for the five of us. Since two people were having difficulty with the French language who had booked (as there was no possibility of having a guide in Italian), she calmly switched to English which we all understood. She adapted the visit to our specific needs.
