¡Este es un día de descubrimiento e historia! Nuestra ruta sigue caminos menos transitados, brindándole una visión perspicaz del pasado y el presente de Portugal. Viajamos al pueblo de Silves. Aquí hay tiempo para visitar la impresionante catedral y pasear por las calles estrechas (entradas no incluidas). Desde aquí continuamos nuestro ascenso hacia la montaña de Monchique. Visitaremos el encantador pueblecito balneario de Caldas de Monchique, con manantiales de probadas propiedades medicinales. Siguiendo la sinuosa carretera, llegamos al punto más alto del Algarve, Fóia, con 902 m sobre el nivel del mar. Luego, cuesta abajo desde Fóia, cruzando el campo y deteniéndonos en el pequeño pueblo de Marmelete, donde tendrá tiempo para disfrutar del almuerzo en uno de los restaurantes locales (incluido). Después del almuerzo nos dirigimos directamente a la Costa Vicentina, para visitar algunas playas magníficas. Luego se dirige al "fin del mundo": Cabo St. Vincent. Paso por Sagres, típico pueblo de pescadores y su puerto pesquero protegido.

Continuamos nuestro ascenso a las montañas de Monchique, un paraíso de verdes laderas ondulantes, majestuosos alcornoques y arboledas de eucaliptos.
De pie a 902 m sobre el nivel del mar. Las vistas aquí son dramáticas y el aire increíblemente puro.
Visite algunas magníficas playas donde puede tener tiempo para pasear, tomar excelentes fotografías, relajarse y disfrutar de la vista.
Luego llega al "fin del mundo", la ciudad de Sagres, famosa casa de la Escuela de Navegación del Príncipe Enrique. En el cabo de San Vicente (el punto más al sudoeste de Europa), un pequeño faro se alza sobre los acantilados y desafía a los elementos. Respira el vigorizante aire del mar y maravíllate con la inmensidad del paisaje.

What an amazing day! This tour took us from the mountain tops in the Monchique Mountains to the most southwestern part of Europe in Sagres and Cabo De San Vicente. Along the way, we stopped and had an absolutely fabulous lunch at the Restaurante O’Castelo. Muito delicioso!! The views along the way were breathtaking and the beaches spectacular. It was a full day, but we saw and learned much about the history and culture of the Algarve. I cannot say enough about Ricardo, our guide. He was amazing. 5-stars plus!! He treated us like we were VIP’s. Ricardo, a native of the Algarve, gave us an in-depth narrative on the history of the area along with a unique perspective of its culture. This made the day even more special for us. An outstanding day!!

The tour guide was very knowledgable about the area and we enjoyed his time with us but our group was picked up a bit late and returned at 1:30 pm instead of 3pm. We were supposed to go for a tour of a sardine museum but this didn’t happen.
Very interesting ride, Pieter as a tour guide was very informative and answered many questions. Highly recommended 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
