The tour was phenomenal and such a great experience learning about the culture and how Incense and the Hat are being manufacturer. Sabrina was such amazing tour guilde. Highly recommend booking with them. She even help with taking our pictures which turned out great .
I had an amazing day. Louisa was an amazing guide, plus the driver was very safe. The other guests and I enjoyed all aspects of the tour along with a great mix of humour, experiences and fabulous mix of people on the tour. I would highly recommend any tour guided by Louisa and the same driver (sorry i forget his name) After the key aspects of the tour the option to be dropped at train st, other destination or hotel was a fantastic situation. I have nothing negative to say.
I was glad I booked this tour. Iris was informative and very entertaining all through. Me being a solo traveller she offered to take pictures and took loads of beautiful pictures. The driver was well experienced and drove us safely though and was polite and friendly.
My tour consists of incense village,, hat making lotus tea shop and prison visit. Our guide was Louisa and she is a very hands on guide and is quite funny! Unlike some guide who rushed through things or seemed like had a mission to complete, she was very genuine and u could see that she loved her job very well. And the greatest thing is, she takes really good pix for everyone, despite being under the hot sun! Also complimenting her that she bothered to come all the way to my hotel lobby to pick me up. Unlike another guide experience, whom I was told to go some other pick up point cuz my hotel didn’t allow any cars in. That was really commendable! At the prison visit, I was the only tourist but she took pains to explain everything. I enjoyed her company very much. Although young, she can take care of people very well. She also offers a list of authentic local places to go. That really makes her a gem!
Louisa was perfect. She was patient, attentive, funny, very informative, and kind. The tour had plenty of things to do, but since this is my first solo trip I can tell that the experience was made much better by her. She took her time and gave everybody the opportunity to feel included. I appreciate the patience of everybody in the company and I wish them many blessings.
The guide was very informed and funny. Very entertaining while providing good points on the places we visited. Very helpful about other things vietnamese related.
Well spoken, friendly, full of life
Very nice tour. We took half a day and were satisfied with this. There was a very good communication about the course of the day the day before. The hat Village was charming. We got a good explanation from our tour guide Louisa. Afterwards we were allowed to decorate our own hat. This was definitely fun for the kids. Then we visited the incense factory. It was nice to experience the whole process in a very authentic way. Also the photo place was nice to do. Recommended for those who want to escape from the busy city
The incense village was cute, not what I was expecting it was way smaller but cute, the experience of making incense was great, hat making was fun. Our tour guide Iris while she was very knowledgeable and answered every question, and made BEAUTIFUL photos for us in the village which I really appreciate, I feel like she lacks people skills. Regret to say most of the tour felt rushed and not very fun. Overall I wouldn't say it was a great experience throughout the day but an average one, and it all came down to how impatient Iris came across. I'd still recommend doing the tour because making the incense and painting hats was fun, but comparing it with other tours I had in Hanoi and my experiences with other guides and how fun they made it, I wouldn't recommend it as a priority.
It was a very enriching and interesting experience; everything is provided for you to immerse yourself in Vietnamese culture! Louisa was nice; she shared some jokes that created a good atmosphere in our group. The driver was also very kind; both of them spoke English very well. A little tip: no need to bring your hat for photos in the village; they lend them out. And if you are alone, do not worry; they can take your photo.
