Guide Runar was really friendly and keen to answer any questions. Godafoss was breathtaking in winter and the geothermal area is other worldly. Gained so much knowledge about about the region (had no idea the Forest Lagoon construction planning was catalysed by the motorway tunnel). Runar also shared many stories about the early parliament and reformation which were very interesting. Was lucky that it was only myself and a family of three so almost felt like private. Very grateful Saga still went ahead with a tour of only four people. Sadly the sudden turn in weather conditions meant it wasn't feasible to spend too much time at each of the stop offs. However saw all locations I wanted to covered in snow - amazing :)
Bethlehem, our guide, very nice. Good pro. In addition, he gave us very useful tips for upcoming visits to Iceland.
Our guide, Belen, gave us an exquisite and friendly treatment. 100% recommended. I'd definitely repeat. He answered all our questions and gave us a lot of information about the place.
We had Luke as our guide. He emigrated from Germany to Iceland about 3 years ago because he fell in love with the country. You could see this immediately: with a lot of knowledge, enthusiasm and personal experience he entertained us, informed us and imparted knowledge. A clear recommendation! This was a tour that stands out from others, and that you won't forget anytime soon. Tack! Svenja Bickert
We really enjoyed our trip to Lake Mývatn, the lava fields of Dimmuborgir, the mud pools of Hverir and the Godafoss waterfall. Our guide Lukas was able to tell us a lot about Land & Leute and its exciting history... he has a nice and fun way of imparting his knowledge. Thank you for that!
Very good organization. The places, the time for each and, above all, the explanations of Manuel, our guide in Spanish. Knowledgeable about what I was talking about, pleasant and very attentive. Un 10. I recommend it
I had the most amazing solo trip in February, and this tour was the highlight! The group was awesome, but honestly, it was our tour guide who took the experience to a whole new level. He was incredibly knowledgeable about everything we saw, and his sense of humor kept us laughing and engaged the entire day. He made the tour feel so welcoming and inclusive. The locations we visited were spot-on, perfectly chosen, and we had just the right amount of time at each stop. Nothing felt rushed, and there was never a dull moment. I was so impressed by how well-organized everything was, the moment I stepped into that van I no longer had to worry about anything but sightseeing. The tour company was super responsive to my questions beforehand, accommodating, and just genuinely friendly. If you're considering this tour, don’t hesitate—it's an unforgettable experience from start to finish!
Our guide, Runar, was great—knowledgeable, fun and an excellent guide who showed us many amazing and beautiful sites. He went out of his way to make our day special.
What a superb small, friendly company with such enthusiastic local guides, not only did we see fantastic sites we learnt much about the people as well with information on the past, present and future plans. Incredibly safe driver and found a great place for lunch complete with viewing window into cow shed
I cannot say enough about the fantastic treatment we received and the sights we saw on this excursion. We enjoyed every minute and cannot say enough about the itinerary, the guide, the thoughtfulness of the tour operator. We felt welcome and were treated well from the moment we were welcomed at the port. We saw waterfalls, mud fields, caves, visited a mineral bath pool, visited a hydro generating station operated by steam, and the divide between Europe and North America. What a full day we had. The itinerary was well laid out with enough time at each spot for health breaks, fantastic photo opportunities. The guide was wonderful with lots of stories of trolls, and local experiences. Thank you so much for a wonderful day. I hope to return one day soon. If you are in Iceland you must use this Company!!!
