El tour incluye una visita al parque arqueológico del Valle de los Templos de Agrigento.Caracterizada por un excelente estado de conservación, y por importantes templos doricos del período helénico. Fue incluida en la Lista del Patrimonio de la Humanidad de la UNESCO en 1997.
Agrigento es sin duda una de las ciudades más bellas del mundo, la más visitada jamás, un símbolo de la antigüedad con su sugestivo Valle de los Templos. Pero Agrigento no es solo cultura e historia. Es bella no sólo por su excepcional patrimonio arqueológico, sino también por el entorno natural que la caracteriza. La hermosa playa de San Leone está formada por una suave arena dorada, caracterizada por kilómetros de arenales bañados por un mar espléndido, de color azul intenso y aguas cristalinas. Su paseo marítimo (Falcone y Borsellino) está adornado con altas palmeras que lo bordean. En sus inmediaciones hay todo tipo de servicios, comercios y restaurantes que ofrecen especialidades típicas sicilianas. Después de explorar los sitios arqueológicos del Parque Valle dei Templi, disfrute de un almuerzo en un pequeño restaurante frente al paseo Falcone Borsellino en San Leone. Aquí los platos se basan en la combinación de ingredientes de la tierra y el mar, una mezcla única con sabor mediterráneo.
Una espléndida joya blanca deslumbrante que enmarca el azul claro del mar es la Scala dei Turchi. Uno de los destinos favoritos de los veranos del sur, gracias a su conformación con líneas suaves, redondeadas e irregulares y el color de su acantilado blanco "frío". Se compone de roca sedimentaria arcillosa y caliza, que le da al acantilado su característico color blanco y baja temperatura al tacto. Se puede llegar al acantilado a través de un camino de enormes escalones, encima del cual los turistas suelen "acampar" para tomar el sol o admirar el maravilloso panorama que domina la igualmente fascinante costa de Agrigento.

Giuseppe was a great driver. He took time to explain the sights to us and shared a lot about Sicilian culture. Anna, our tour guide at the temples, was incredibly knowledgeable and allowed us the time we needed to take a lot of pictures. She also happily took our picture in great spots with the temples in the background.

Beautiful drive from Palermo to Agrigento. The tour was wonderful and very informative. Lunch was great and we really enjoyed Scala de Turchi. Our driver Guiseppe was so kind and very helpful and knew the area very well.

This full day experience featured a drive south to Agrigento to see the temples of the gods. Our driver, Mimmo, shared information along the way. He was super courteous and concerned for our comfort and welfare. Our guide at the temples was Anna. She was incredibly knowledgeable and we felt well informed about what we were seeing. Long drive from Palermo but totally worth it. The valley of temples is stunning. Having a guide was worth the extra cost but the layout and signage would make it possible to do without.

You do want to see the valley of temples. You will feel transported in time and probably will feel you are in Greece. Fabrizio our driver and Danielle our guide were amazing. The valley of the temples is not to be missed – the ruins are beautiful, the history is fascinating – our guide Anna did a wonderful job.— the park itself is beautiful and green and open, and you feel like you are out in nature. Scala dei Turchi was less impressive – perhaps in part because we chose not to climb down the stairs and saw it from above. One of the best parts of our day was getting to know our wonderful driver Luca (ask for him if you can!)
