Our guide was Kaleem and he was great - super authentic and you could tell he deeply cared for the city, its people, and culture. He walked us through 5+ sites across multiple religions, providing historical context of the site and then tied it back to a piece of poetry. The tour lasted longer than planned but he always made sure we were good to continue. Be prepared to walk the streets and get a feel for the city, it moves fast and has lots of turns. 10/10 would recommend and one of my favorite tours I’ve done.
Excellent walk! I’ve never seen Agra in such a light. Kaleem was particularly engaging. I learnt a lot. Anyone who wants to see Agra in a new light should try this.
Thank you for your review.
The walk was amazing, so were the people we met along the walk. I noticed wherever we would stop, people would come up and listen. Truly amazing.
Thank you for your review.
Visiting Taj and Agra is something which is done by thousands of travelers almost daily. But how many of them Experience Taj mahal and Agra?? Experience is something which truly comes from living it first hand. But how does one get to live something which was constructed almost 400 years back and is way past its prime in today's time?? Here's where Tahir and Agra Heritage walk comes in. Although i have visited Taj innumerable times but a walk with Agra heritage walk is like time travel. Tahirs insightful narration transcends us to a level which we couldn't have imagined. Those 2 3 hours of walk made us feel like we are living the moments of bygone Era rather than visiting them. AHW is something which I recommend to each and evry person whether a local or tourist. Its an experience which am sure you will relish.
Thank you for your review.
Had a wonderful time doing the tour with Tahir and the team. It was very well managed and as we were traversing through the medieval corridors, it almost felt like I could experience how life must have been like then. Had a great time overall.
Thank you for review of the community walk. It was a pleasure to host you :)
Great tour guide. The trip would not have been as good without our guide The knowledge of history and places around Agra was great. We were lucky enough to visit some great local areas.
Thank you
This was a highlight for our trip in Agra, while the Taj was beautiful, this walking tour through the old city really is a wonderful way of getting to know the people and culture in a better way. Anal, our guide was excellent. Rather then an overload us with historical facts - this tour offered a much more relaxed and safe way to appreciate the part of the old city and some of the historical gems that are hidden here - the food tasting was also excellent. We ended the tour sitting above the city listening to Anal play the flute while overlooking the Taj. It was truly magical!! Highly recommend to anyway who wants more from Agra then the Taj!
Thank you so much. It was a pleasure to host you both.
Your agra trip wouldn't be complete without this! Must have experience if you are in Agra. Kudos to Anal for such a great experience. Would highly recommend it:)
Thank you so much for the positive review.
This wasn’t only a walk but a journey of soul and warmth through the city of Agra with stories and personal anecdotes. Would recommend it to everyone who enjoy beauty and understanding the narratives that surround a place. Thank you for this wonderful experience!
Thank you so much for your review. We look forward to having you back on our walks sooner :)
Attending today's city walk was undoubtedly a beautiful and enlightening experience. It is significant to understand that Agra is so much beyond the Taj Mahal. The stories, the people, the culture it brims with is still unknown to many of us. We were guided through the streets of the old city that not only reflect the religious diversity the city showcases, but also the rich art and literature that is embedded in its history. Kaleem and Tahir are really dedicated. The anecdotes and perspectives they shared with us today mirror how much they love the city and its culture and that's truly inspiring.
Thank you for your review Akansha. Hope to see you on more of our walks.
