Descripción
Esta excursión por Agadir le llevará a descubrir la kasbah denominada Agadir Oufella; una antigua kasbah destruida por el terremoto de 1960 y, a continuación, el centro de la nueva ciudad denominada la nouvelle ville, con una parada en la mezquita principal, una fábrica de extracción de aceite de argán y el gran Zoco; (gran mercado de la ciudad).

La marina está construida sobre un área de 18 hectáreas, junto al mar, frente a la bahía. Es uno de los proyectos turísticos más importantes de Marruecos. Sus promotores Aziz Akhannouch, Ali Ouakrim y Ali Zaid han realizado una inversión de 18 millones de dirhams. Una empresa canaria Marinas Canarias construyó una gran parte en sociedad con la empresa Marina Agadir. Este representó uno de los primeros proyectos de cooperación económica entre la región de Agadir Souss-Massa Draâ y el gobierno de Canarias. Inaugurado oficialmente en septiembre de 2007, el puerto deportivo consta de residencias, hoteles y casi 130 tiendas, pero también restaurantes y cafeterías y un puerto deportivo para unos 300 barcos. El puerto deportivo es el lugar ideal para relajarse durante el día o la noche.
El castillo, conocido y nombrado como "Agadir Oufella", construido en el siglo XVI, pero se derrumbó durante el terremoto de 1960. Esta Kasbah se alza sobre una colina alta donde podrá disfrutar de una vista fabulosa de la ciudad de Agadir y sus alrededores.
La mezquita en el distrito de Talborjt, la más grande de la ciudad, está ubicada en la intersección de la calle 29 de febrero y la avenida General Kettani. Lleva el nombre del abuelo del actual rey Mohamed VI. Las puertas de madera tallada, el trabajo de los mosaicos y su majestuoso tamaño la convierten en una de las mezquitas más bellas de la región. Como en otras mezquitas del Reino, el acceso está restringido a los musulmanes.
"Souk Al Had", el mercado más grande de la ciudad; uno muy interesante para todo tipo de compras.

Hussein was a great guide and gave us lots of info about the area whilst taking us between sites. We had the tour to ourselves and Hussein checked before we started what things we would like to see (and so we avoided the usual shops and argan oil factory which we did not want to see). Hussein dropped us off at the sights we wanted and left us to wander on our own. We never felt pressured to stick to a time or to hurry. If you are looking for a knowledgeable private driver for a personally-curated tour/taxi then this is the perfect tour.
