Tour por el volcán Arenal por la tarde y río Natural Hot Springs

While I enjoyed the hike, it’s not for those that aren’t used to at least some moderate exercise if you want to keep up with the group. Norlan was our guide and while we unfortunately didn’t get a lot of wildlife to view on the hike, he was very knowledgeable about the plant life and vegetation so we were entertained as we hiked up. The view at the top of the blue trail was stunning and if you want to see the new peak of Volcano Arenal, this was the tour to be on. According to Norlan, we were a part of a small 20% of people that get to see the volcano so clearly even when it was raining. The hot springs were significantly cold (this could have been due to the consistent rainfall in the area. Norlan even provided a volcanic ash mask to use while in the hot springs. We unfortunately couldn’t stay long because it was about to storm. But overall, it was a very pleasant experience.

Fantastic experience doing the volcano walk with Norlan. The walk takes place in Parque Ecológico volcán Arenal. The route itself was pretty short (although it is uphill/with steps) and there was a lot of time to learn about the geography of Costa Rica, geology of the volcano and the story of the 1968 eruption, as well as look at many interesting plants, and of course admire the volcano. There are not as many animals but we did see a few birds and a coati up close. Norlan was extremely kind, engaging and knowledgeable. After the walk we spent about half an hour at the free hot springs El Choyin. One of the highlights of my time in La Fortuna - thanks Norlan !

I had a wonderful time with my guide, Mikhaël, who was incredibly kind and attentive throughout the tour. Since people cancelled at the last minute, I unexpectedly enjoyed a private tour experience. Everything was perfectly organized, and we were able to take our time with each activity. We even had the chance to spot a white hawk and a macaw! I would definitely recommend this activity with Arenal Jungle Tour.

Amazing experience. Long uphill hike so wearing comfortable hiking shoes recommended. We had great weather and our guide was wonderful. We were able to see Arenal without any cloud coverage which was apparently not very common.

We did the volcano hike with guide Norlan and he completely transformed our experience. He explained many things about the flora and fauna of the ecological park and shared some of the volcano’s history, which made everything very interesting. The hike ended with a delicious lunch. After lunch, we didn’t feel very well, and our guide was extremely attentive and kindly asked the driver to take us back. Thank you Norlan and to the driver William for providing such excellent service! We highly recommend them

Very good guide, it was a good experience although it rained a lot and we couldn't see the volcano up close, but eventually we loved it

The tour pickup was late by 45 mins with no communication , wasn’t sure if they were picking us or not . Then wasted more time my joking around and loud speaking by the group guide (Joesph) , no animals were to be found except we saw a marmot like animal and a Toucan towards the end . Then got dropped off at the hot springs in pitch dark , nothing to be seen and overcrowded . Very disappointed with the tour
