Very boring, the announcer explaining everything never shut up for the whole 90 minutes. The pictures way to expensive. They could have offered something for free.
You roast in the sun waiting to board for over 40 minutes being forced to take a picture only to be trapped inside because there aren’t enough umbrellas on the upper deck.
Overall, I’d call it a mediocre experience. The tour lasted a little over an hour, which was a decent amount of time on the water. The bartender definitely didn’t skimp on the pours, and from what I could hear, the history guide seemed knowledgeable. The crew was friendly, welcoming, and attentive, and the air conditioning kept the cabin comfortable. Unfortunately, there were several downsides. The boat had a dated charm that could have been enjoyable if it hadn’t smelled like an old casino boat repurposed for sightseeing. The history guide was difficult to hear for much of the tour, making it hard to stay engaged. While I understand that smoking is permitted outside, it would greatly improve the experience if it were limited to a designated area at the rear of the boat. Instead, cigarette smoke continuously drifted through the passenger areas due to the boat’s movement, making it unpleasant for nonsmokers. On top of that, the air conditioning had a lingering stale smoke odor that reminded me of an older motel room that had been repeatedly treated to mask decades of cigarette smoke. The staff did their best and there were some positives, but the overall experience was overshadowed by the poor air quality, lingering odors, and difficulty hearing the narration. With a few improvements, this could be a much more enjoyable tour.
The guide who narratived the boat cruise was very knowledgeable and shared alot of information.
My family and I enjoyed this activity. Learned about different accomplishments that Savannah and its people have made throughout the years.

Very historical but also interesting with respect to current commercial shipping stories. A high point in my trip was passing a container ship.
I had a great time and I will highly recommend this to anyone. I will definitely be making a trip back soon
The boat was beautiful, however we thought we would be traveling on the Savannah River Queen, a smaller vessel. The staff was attentive, the food was good. The problem was you could not hear the narrative unless you went outside. Instead of relaxing in a cooler room, we spent the trip standing out in the heat and sun. Perhaps they need to put more speakers inside. Overall, not too bad of a trip. We liked that they have an interaction with old Ft. Jackson.
Was worth the price safe well maintained. Crew was very knowledgeable and helpful. Would go on again
