It were great boat ride and the crew and staff were friendly this afternoon including the bartender.
Lee and Larry were excellent ghost hosts. The tour was full of interesting lore and fun facts. Would highly recommend.
Riverboat cruise is a nice experience, very calming and relaxing. It was smooth sailing, not crowded, overall it was great for the family. Don’t hesitate to make your reservation!
An amazing way to learn more about the city of Savannah while still having fun. I would recommend this experience to anyone for any occasion!
Been on better. As Savannah is an active river port there wasn’t a lot of history mentioned. Very noisy, difficult to hear narration. Some windows clouded over making it difficult to see. First 2 decks were closed so the staff could set up for dinner cruise limiting even more visible locations. As it was a very warm day, you needed to go in and out to cool off. This could not be controlled by the crew.
Not scary, but fun and interactive. The tour was a good look into Savannah’s history with a connection to the spirits of the past. Great guides!!!
It was easy and comfortable. The tour narrator was very nice and knowledgeable and the other passengers were pleasant.
It's a great, fun and interesting tour on the water. Make sure to wear summer attire. Early arrival gives you a better choice of seating.
We took the Savannah Riverboat Sightseeing Cruise on July 5, 2026, during extreme heat and were told we could enjoy the narrated tour from the air-conditioned indoor seating. Unfortunately, the indoor speaker system was so poor that no one in our group could understand the narration. We also ordered an espresso martini from the bar that looked nothing like the menu photo and was served in a plastic cup, despite us staying indoors. We had already tipped $5 when ordering, making the experience even more disappointing. I've attached photos so others can see how different the drink looked from what was advertised. Disembarkation was the biggest issue. Everyone was directed to a single exit, leaving hundreds of passengers packed shoulder to shoulder in the heat for more than 10 minutes waiting to get off the boat. It was uncomfortable and could have been managed much better. Before posting this review, we contacted the company to give them an opportunity to address our concerns but never received a response. We also reached out to Viator, and they informed us the tour operator did not respond to them either. The air conditioning was appreciated on such a hot day, but the inaudible narration, disappointing bar experience, poor disembarkation process, and lack of customer service made this a 2-star experience.
It was very informative. Very family oriented. They were friendly and organized. My only criticism would be that they should disembark check by deck quite a bottle neck when trying to exit!
