The best tour we could have had. It's really an inexplicable and unrepeatable experience. our guide Masae was truly someone who becomes family all day long. The experience of seeing how tea is produced and then having the tea ceremony is incredible. 10/10 stars, we want to have the tour with Masae again!

This private Matcha farm tour was truly one of the highlights of our trip to Japan. Wazuka is a peaceful, scenic town with breathtaking views of rolling tea fields—and this experience gave us a deep appreciation for Japan’s rich tea-making history. Our guide, Masea, was fantastic—knowledgeable, warm, and clearly passionate about the culture and tradition of Matcha. We visited tea farms, learned the fascinating differences between green tea and Matcha, and enjoyed a private tasting of premium teas in a beautiful Japanese-style house. The 6-course Matcha lunch was absolutely incredible—each dish thoughtfully prepared using locally sourced ingredients and infused with Matcha in creative and delicious ways. This tour is a must for tea lovers or anyone looking to experience a unique, authentic side of Japan. Highly recommend!

This was the best experience we had so far! We want Masae to be our Japanese best friend. She was so informative, easy to talk to (In English!), and fun. She even brought us to a candy factory and we got fresh mochi to have with our tea tasting. The Uji tea fields are so beautiful and she taught us so much about matcha and green tea. Finally we stopped at a private home to have our tea tasting and we got to see how Japanese people actually live and what their houses look like. It was so much more different and personal than any other tour you can have and Masae actually lives and was raised in the area. Will never forget this experience.
