Fantastic first trip to Tanzania with Longway Expeditions! I was quite nervous about going on safari as a solo female traveller, but Anne from Longway was incredibly patient and helpful throughout the entire process. She addressed all of my concerns, helped me customize the itinerary around my specific interests, and made sure I got the most out of my time in Tanzania. I was absolutely blown away by the diversity of the landscapes, the incredible wildlife, and the warmth of the people. My driver-guide, Amir, was very experienced, flexible with plans, and gave me the best possible wildlife-viewing experience. I was amazed by his knowledge and his ability to spot interesting animals from a distance. I especially appreciated how mindful he was about giving the animals enough space and making sure we never got too close, as this was something I had been particularly concerned about. Every worry I had before the trip completely disappeared once I was there. Even though I didn't get to see all of the Big 5, I loved every minute of the safari and the trip was so special to me. To any solo female travellers who are nervous about travelling alone, I can honestly say you won’t regret it. I can’t wait to return to Tanzania and plan more trips with Longway Expeditions!

Anne was the best tour organiser... She was very patient and worked with me to figure out the best safari format on a very short notice. The experience there was a once in a lifetime, i have never seen so many big cats and my guide was full of knowledge. I cannot recommend enough to try Lon Way Expeditions, it was such a find! And Tanzania was fantastic!

This is a local business owned by Ann and Abu. Arranging our trip with Ann was perfect. We gave our budget, listed our interests and Ann suggested a bespoke itinerary for the two of us. Ann was happy to make changes as we changed our minds! And was very quick to respond. I felt very confident booking with them. Abu was our guide. He was very friendly and fun to be with. Very knowledgeable and determined to find what we traveled so far to see! Also a safe driver who had great respect for the animals and environment. He looked after us well. We also had a driver and guide so we could do a day walk at the foot of Kilimanjaro. They were equally friendly, experienced and helpful. The highlight for us was the Serengeti. Unique and authentic. Staying in the wilderness in tents is truly amazing. Together Ann and Abu make the best team!
