Conocidos a menudo como el "Amazonas de Costa Rica", los canales de Tortuguero son una de las atracciones naturales más emblemáticas del país. Este paseo guiado en barco lo llevará a través de canales estrechos y tranquilos rodeados de exuberante vegetación tropical, ofreciendo vistas cercanas de la vida silvestre local. Con la ayuda de su guía, podrá observar perezosos, monos aulladores, iguanas, caimanes y una amplia variedad de aves tropicales. El barco está equipado con techo, asientos cómodos y chalecos salvavidas, lo que lo convierte en una experiencia segura y relajante para todas las edades.
Explora una tienda de recuerdos local con auténticas artesanías costarricenses y disfruta de una degustación de cortesía de café recién hecho y cacao saborizado (como caramelizado o canela). Cuando esté disponible, una corta caminata de 15 minutos a través del jardín adyacente exhibe plantas tropicales como piña, cacao, canela, ylang ylang y noni. Lo más destacado es una demostración en vivo de cómo funciona el sistema de procesamiento de una plantación de banano, una mirada interesante a uno de los productos de exportación más importantes de Costa Rica.
Este pintoresco sendero de 2 kilómetros lo lleva en una caminata guiada a través de un exuberante bosque secundario, ofreciendo la oportunidad de experimentar de cerca la rica biodiversidad de Costa Rica. En el camino disfrutarás de hermosos paisajes y una variedad de flora y fauna tropical. El sendero es especialmente conocido por sus especies de ranas, incluida la llamativa rana dardo roja (Oophaga pumilio), así como por los avistamientos comunes de monos aulladores, capuchinos cara blanca y ambas especies de perezosos costarricenses (de dos y tres dedos). Los amantes de las aves pueden observar tucanes, oropéndolas, tángaras, colibríes, kiskadees grandes y más. Ardillas, mariposas y otras criaturas fascinantes también llenan este vibrante ecosistema.

Su recorrido comienza dentro del muelle, donde nuestros guías le estarán esperando con un cartel que muestra su nombre. Busque nuestras camisas rojas para una fácil identificación. Ofrecemos recogida justo dentro del muelle, por lo que no hay necesidad de caminar fuera de las instalaciones. Momento: Los tours se programan 30 minutos después de que su barco atraque, y el tour más temprano comienza a las 8:00 AM. Como el mejor operador turístico local, garantizamos su regreso al crucero

Katerin was an amazing tour guide. Very informative and friendly. We really enjoyed the fruit samples. The mango was amazing!! Catarina and Gigi were great companions and I told us a lot and explained things. They got us fresh fruit and we had a lot of fun with the two! During the boat tour and the hike we could observe many animals and there was enough time to take great photos. During a walk through an educational garden Catarina was able to tell us a lot about the cocoa, coffee and banana plants. We had a great day!

It was rainy during our canal tour, but we were still able to see a few sloths & monkeys. "Rich" was our guide for the entire 6-in-1 & she was great! She was so good at spotting different things (snakes, sloths, monkeys, spiders, dragonflies, etc) along the jungle/beach trail. We also had someone with a challenging personality & Rich showed great patience. She is also fluent in both English & Spanish, so she made the trip enjoyable for everyone.

What a great tour so fun. Mario was our fabulous driver and our guide was Rich who was one of the best tour guides I’ve had anywhere. She was so friendly bubbly and knowledgeable. We stopped at a shop that gave us samples of plantains coffee and fresh fruit then off to the rain forest/beach. Saw sloths and snakes giant spiders turtles iguanas and lots of different flowers. Walked out to the ocean which was so pretty. Then we had time for a local beer and some gelato. Passed the banana plants and then stopped in to learn about how they grow and more sloths !!! Grabbed a delicious meat pie and off to move our boat ride. We got another sample of frag fruit and a water and took a slow cruise down a canal to see lots of birds and iguanas and even a cayman. Truly got a great feel for Costa Rica and it’s very friendly people and it’s amazing country! Rice and Beans !!!

We had an amazing day on this excursion. Our guides were very informative and helpful with taking pics of the animals. We saw Slots (also 1 was eating), birds, bats, monkeys and venomous snake. Rich asked us what we would like to see and do on this excursion. She made sure we saw all the animals that everyone wanted to see. Also, she was very informative about the plant life and what purposes these plants served. Never did we feel rushed and was a very relaxed environment. I would do this excursion again.
What a wonderful experience. Even tho it rained most of the day, we still saw the canals and the park. The boats were covered so that helped a lot. We saw a lot of sloths in the park which was an incredible experience. Our guide Pablo was the absolute best!! His personality, excitement and adventurous nature made the trip more than I could have expected.
