João is amazing!! My friend and i attended and had so much fun. He went into detail about the history of Brazil and the how food and farming played such a large role. it made the meals taste that much better! Not to mention, he’s extremely helpful and provided a cookbook and continued contact if we ever needed help with the recipes. The class is great for all levels of cooking, my friend and i cook, but i really think newbies would catch on super quick. The kitchen is super clean and well lit, you can tell he takes a lot of pride in his space. The cost of the class is perfect, the quality of education, products used, and not to mention unlimited drinks (!) was so worth it!

What a great experience! This class was like a cool dinner party! We cooked, learned a lot about Brazilian culture and food and we ate and drank until we could not any more! This is a great way to spend an evening!

The food was great! You can also meet great people. Andre was a fantastic cook and guide. The experience is fantastic for children. The recipes were easy and practical. We ate a lot!!

This was such a fun experience! Especially as a family. We loved touring the market with Andre. He makes a perfect caipirinha de limao! We enjoyed so many traditional Brazilian dishes. And it was fun that we made them! Definitely recommend as Andre even got my teenage kids engaged.

Joao was a warm and inviting host and a talented chef. We had fun learning to make Brazilian dishes and eating them. The caiprinias were a great addition! We even got to watch Brazil beat Scotland while cooking! Fun evening!

There were appetizers, main courses, and desserts; the cooking was stress-free, and I was particularly excited about the Moqueca, but everything else was also very, very tasty. The chef André explained all the ingredients, cooking steps, and assisted with the preparation (well, he helped quite a bit, as I am not an experienced cook). There were Caipirinhas, everything was very relaxed, and the main thing was to have fun.
