An awesome way to see the bay from Kotor! The blue cave was beautiful and it was a good amount of swim time, and there was also a good amount of time to see Our Lady of the Rocks and Perast too. Our guides were very friendly and gave us interesting information on all the sights as we passed by. A large chunk of the time is spent on the boat between destinations, but we didn’t mind as we got to take it all in and enjoy speeding through the bay. We didn’t feel rushed at any spot and really enjoyed it. Highly recommend to anyone looking to hit these spots all in one go!
Do not recommend. Bad communication. Not good for cruise passengers. ……………………………..,,,,;,,:,,,;………….,
Martin, can you please explain what happened? Did you go on the tour? What happened on your cruise? Did you mix something?
This is a wonderful tour. We compared notes with others from the cruise and ours was the best. First, they met us and kept us informed. It is only about a three minute walk from where the boats are tendered. Because it was a busy weekend. They immediately took us to the Blue cave and we saw it with only about two other boats. That was incredible then instead of putting us with about 20 boats that were swimming nearby he brought us to another cave where we could swim around. We had our own cave. The water was refreshing and you could see fish with the masks they provided. Next we safely rode back in and went to the little church surrounded by water. I was surprised how interesting it was. Next we went to the little town of Perast (sp). Great place to grab an ice cream and beer. Some of the tours spent two hours there and people felt that was too much time. We just spent a small amount of time and we felt that was perfect. Our operator in my opinion was exceptional. I highly recommend this tour and I originally read the reviews of the other similar tours, and this one seemed above the others. There is a cover if there’s too much sun; it was comfortable and we were taken care of.
Tide and Wave is the way to go in Kotor. After some weather and bad traffic changed our plans, Aleksa worked hard to accommodate us and did so in a safe but enjoyable manner. His boating expertise, attention to detail, and easy-going manner made the tour one of the highlights of our trip. The extra hour (4 hours) you get on this tour compared to 3 hours on other tours is a big difference and makes everything feel much less rushed. Would give 100/100 if I could, this is the best speedboat tour in Kotor.
From the very beginning being the welcome to the goodbye. This excursion had too many highlights to name. It was an amazing experience in every way. Includes fast boat, swimming, war history (hiding submarines!) all nestled between the mountains. Such an incredible visit and experience.
Great experience, the music was such a vibe!
Absolutely disappointing experience. The tour was canceled just a few hours before it was due to start because they claimed they did not have enough people and needed three more participants. This should have been managed much earlier, not at the last minute. The captain was also extremely rude and unprofessional throughout the interaction, which made the situation even worse. Because of the cancellation, I had to wait three hours for another tour and ended up paying extra for parking as well. Overall, it felt like maximizing profit was a higher priority than providing good customer service. I would not recommend this company unless they significantly improve the way they treat their customers and handle bookings.
Easy to remember guest like you, it is one in a million . Person who books group tour, gets informed 3 hours before that tour is cancelled because at that specific time slot we didn't have GROUP for GROUP tour, refuse to go at any alternative time slot and then be extremely rude. Even though I have spent half an hour explaining that we can't drive ONE GUEST on the Group tour, he demanded to be driven and even said if we can't fill every time slot at every part of the season that we should close the company and threaten that he will leave bad comment on every platform that we have. That rudeness, lack of respect and ego of a guest can't be tolerated by our company.
We we’re never presented snorkeling gear and we’re never offered water like the description suggests
Did you asked for it? We can't guess if people want it or not... There is snorkeling equipment on the boat as there is water... Like you see in many other comments about it... Skipper is driver, guide, he can't also be a waiter... And you put 3 stars on the tour experience cause of mask and water? You just went on the tour to take bottle of water? Not to enjoy scenery, explore cave, island, old town... If you are still in Kotor, please come and we will give you mask and water for free to take home. Sorry for inconvenience, Aleksa from Tide&Wave.
Great tour with and excellent crew of father and son, who piloted the boat taking very good care of the passengers' comfort and safety, and explained everything about the visited spots!
The initial schedule was cancelled due to poor ocean conditions, but we were given the option to either rebook or receive a refund. Aleksa was very accommodating and helped us arrange a new schedule for the following morning. Communication was excellent throughout. Most boat tours only offer around 2-3 hours, but Aleksa’s company provides a 4-hour tour, which gave us more time to enjoy each stop without feeling rushed. Great experience with excellent service and flexibility, book this if you’re in Kotor!
