Outstanding, fun, interesting is the best way to put it. Manuela has been the greatest host and we were so lucky to have her take us around to try Porto's best food and wine! This was a great way to enjoy the culture, learn more about porto and socialise with great new people and all thanks to our amazing host! Highly recommend 10/10!!!!
Manuela was AMAZING!!!!!!!!! This tour was the best part of our trip to Porto. She was so knowledgeable and helpful with any and all questions. Manuela made sure we were able to get the true Porto experience! I would recommend everyone to request Manuela if you would like to do this tour as she is incredible!!! 100000/10 experience
Pure scam; we learned nothing about Porto or the culinary culture. The guide was not unpleasant but barely spoke to us for 4 hours, so it was useless. Furthermore, we did not eat our fill. We lost 110 euros and 4 hours of our time. Viator never again
Joining this 4-hour traditional food and wine tour was easily one of the highlights of our trip to Porto! From start to finish, everything was exceptionally well-organized and delicious. Our guide was super friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about Portuguese culture and cuisine. We visited fantastic local spots that we definitely wouldn't have discovered on our own—from cozy traditional taverns to authentic wine cellars. The food pairings were incredible, and the local wines (especially the Port wine tastings!) were top-notch. If you want to experience the true flavor and hospitality of Porto in a warm, friendly atmosphere, do not hesitate to book this tour. Highly recommended!
Loved our time exploring Porto one bite at a time. My 3 year son was worth us and everyone was accommodating. A must if you want to try all the traditional yummy food Porto has to offer!
I went to this tour with my friends and had a great time, The guide was very cooperative and had knowledge about the history and places, we also tried traditional and local Portuguese food which was delicious. Overall, it was such a heartwarming experience for all of us.
Mayinka was a lovely guide, and made a lot of effort to personalise the tour. She made sure we were comfortable and was really informal and kind. We tried everything and it was all delicious.
Tried so many great Portuguese dishes and everything was amazing!! Our guide was super friendly and kept things relaxed and easy to follow the whole way. A great way to see the city as well. All around a really solid experience, would recommend it to anyone visiting Porto!
Did this tour with three friends last week and we're still talking about it! Our guide Ana was absolutely lovely - super knowledgeable and you could tell she genuinely loved showing people around Porto. We hit 6 different stops including a traditional tasca, a cheese shop, and finished at a port wine cellar. The highlights were definitely the bacalhau croquettes (never had them that fresh before!) and the aged chouriço at the second stop. The wine pairings were generous - we were worried we'd be too full by the end but somehow managed to eat everything.
This was a great way to see Porto and our guide Daniela did a great job taking us to some places we wouldn’t have ordinarily visited. We sampled some delicious local food and drink and had a great conversation along the way. As it’s Porto, get some good walking shoes and you’ll handle the incline!
