I went with my Red Hat Ladies group. Everyone was very blessed with the knowledge and wisdom shown by Jake. I would recommend this tour.
This is just a driving tour. You do not get out of the vehicle unless you request a stop to take a photo. It was good, but it’s not that interesting to drive by everything and not stop anywhere. Much better to see if fewer things but go out of the vehicle and really explore. Also importantly the tour was supposed to be three hours. It was only 2.5 hours. It was supposed to begin at 9 AM and the day before the tour guide said that he would pick us up at 8:30. I requested 9 o’clock per the booking and that is when we left but we were back at our hotel by 11:30.
Thank you for the opportunity to serve as your guide. I'm sorry that I did not meet your expectation.
Every American should take this tour. Poignant and informative. Don’t miss this important journey through American history.
Thank you 💗
The tour was excellent. The tour started with an overview of the history relative to Montgomery. As we were driving through out the city our tour guide (Mr. William) shared information regarding the buildings and various neighborhoods. Additionally, he took time to answer all of our questions. I highly recommend this tour.
Thank you
Jake was an excellent guide with deep knowledge of the complexity of Montgomery’s history. The van was easily accessible and in immaculate condition. We are so glad we were able to join Jake for a 3 hour experience.
Thank you for the opportunity.
Jake Williams knowledge of events in and around Montgomery is outstanding . He is a walking historian who makes the tour fun and informative.
Thank You
Great guide and wonderful information. So much history that we did not realize. We would highly recommend this tour.
Thank you
The tour was awesome. Rey comprehensive and gave us a good overview of the city, its culture and history. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable, smart and shared important facts about the city, famous residents, government, cultural sites, universities and major landowners. It was a wonderful experience.
Thank you for opportunity
Mr. Williams is a thoughtful and expert tour guide. There were two of us, my 10 year old granddaughter and me. He curated our 3 hour tour towards our interest in Rosa Parks. He arrived at our hotel more than a half hour early in order to insure that we got to the museum for the Rosa Parks Program that day. He is a wealth of historical knowledge and he is an excellent driver. He knows Montgomery like the back of his hand. He is sensitive to the physical needs of his clients both children and adults. I recommend him if you want to get an overview of the history and geography of the area. He is quite pleasant and courteous.
Thank you
We were picked up at our VRBO by Jake. He was early and very polite. We drove past a lot of historical sites, museums, and cemeteries. Jake explained everything that we were seeing. He provided context for a lot of facts that we knew. We can't wait to come back and visit a lot of places that we learned about. We highly recommend this for mixed age families who can't do a lot of walking.
Thank you for the opportunity.
