Venga a explorar el desierto de Alaska fuera de la carretera. Explora en un Camión Gordo/Oveja de Búsqueda y Rescate guiado y climatizado mientras te mantienes a salvo del clima, los insectos y los animales salvajes ocasionales. Este tour de 3 horas lo lleva fuera de la carretera por empinados senderos mineros para ver vistas, le enseña sobre la historia local y las formaciones geológicas cerca del Parque Nacional Denali en un aventurero vehículo de búsqueda y rescate Fat Truck fuera de la carretera. (Planifique unas 3,5-4 horas si utiliza el servicio de traslado al hotel de determinados hoteles durante la temporada de verano)

Este es un tour fuera de la carretera con clima controlado durante todo el año cerca del Parque Nacional Denali en Healy Alaska. Los senderos turísticos varían según el sendero y las condiciones climáticas.

Lugares y horarios de recogida
Servicio de traslado disponible del 1 de mayo al 30 de septiembre. Infórmenos en qué hotel se hospedará para que podamos coordinar un servicio de transporte si lo necesita. El servicio de transporte recogerá a los huéspedes en los hoteles locales entre 30 y 45 minutos antes de la hora de inicio del recorrido y los devolverá entre 30 y 45 minutos después de la hora de finalización del recorrido.

A great, one of a kind trip from a very well run family business! Clear communication, prompt pick up, friendly drivers, and quite an education on everything that came up during the ride! We learned about blueberries, huckleberries, birch syrup, moose scat, rocks, glaciers, mining history, and so much more! I would not hesitate to do it again.
It was a fun activity. Tour guide/driver was very knowledgeable.
Can be a bit cramped inside so if you're claustrophobic it might not be your type of excursion. The tour guide was very willing to answer all our questions
Thanks Tina, yes for some guests it can be cramped, especially guests over 325 lbs or with a waist line more than 50 inches (belt or hip size). these vehicles are not made for tourism, we outfitted them as best we could but larger guests or guests with extreme claustrophobia may not be comfortable. Maybe next time we can earn that 5th star when our new custom vehicle arrives that we specially had built for tourism, but for now, guests get the authentic experience :)
This Fat truck ride was so much fun! Joel and his family have a very smooth awesome business! We loved the sites they took us to. We even floated in the water! Used a drone to send us each an awesome video of our tour through our phones. Highly recommend this tour!!
This excursion was a total surprise to all of us! From the very bumpy beginning to the demonstration of what the Fat Trucks could do over inclines and in the water. Additionally, the commentary by the driver was extremely interesting. It was a very worthwhile excursion. So glad we did!!
Fun experience on the land, in the water and down the moraines. Rides are comfortable and exciting, and the views are great.
These vehicles are very unique and enjoyed the ride. It was made clear that this was not a wildlife tour but we could see something, we didn’t see anything on our trip. I felt it was over priced for a 2 hour tour to ride some mining trails and float in the small lake at the end. I would not have done it knowing what I received and the price. The Team there was fantastic and took photos for you which was great.
We are glad you enjoyed the 3 hour tour and our team. You are correct, this is not a wildlife tour, although we frequently see wildlife (about 70% of our tours) there are tours that see no wildlife especially when the weather is hot and the wildlife sleeps during the hot parts of the days. Unfortunately we can’t control the wildlife or the weather but we still have fun regardless even when guests think we should be able to control the weather and wildlife…..they are wild and it’s not a zoo. Regarding the price: we have tried to keep the price down but not only is Alaska not a “budget travel destination” we are the only tour company using these unique vehicles (Sherps) in the world that come from Ukraine. Some travelers do have “sticker shock” at the prices of Everything in Alaska. Please understand that everything consumable is shipped here via plane, barge, and truck, and if you’re looking for a budget travel destination; Alaska is not for the budget traveler. Many people are flabbergasted by the prices of food, commodities, and even hotel rooms.
This is the most unique activity! The Sherps are just amazing vehicles and the guides are very knowledgeable about the tour area. We were not rushed at the places we stopped and they even take drone footage. Each Sherp also gets a video!! Just the experience of riding in one of these vehicles is amazing. I highly recommend this tour.
Its calmer than you’d think but lots of fun and very informative. It is an amazing vehicle that can go anywhere. Headphone conversation between driver and passengers is very good.
Wow this was an amazing & totally different tour I’ve ever been on ! Our driver Tim was so funny & entertaining and made this unique ride a memorable experience. The family who operates this company are very accommodating with information, taking photos & a personal keepsake. Do the SHERP Fat Truck !!
