Tour de 3 días por la depresión de Danakil y el volcán Erta Ale

It was really hot, but I got to have experiences I normally can’t, and saw incredibly beautiful scenery, so I’m satisfied. The guide was always kind, and the food was delicious at every meal. It was disappointing that we couldn’t see the volcano.

3days tour is perfect, even now the season is very hot,our guide Aman is very patient and nice and share lots of information and background to us.it’s really good.

We spent 2-3 incredible days in the Afar region, visiting the Erta Ale volcano, the Dallol depression, and the salt desert. Despite the intense heat, we had a great time and it was an experience we will not forget. And if anything made the trip even better, it was the team that accompanied us. Guide Aman, always looking out for us; driver Abiti, taking us along all the roads with a lot of patience and safety; and Chef Awet, who prepared some great meals for us in conditions that were not exactly easy. The truth is that the three of them were a fundamental part of the experience and managed to make us enjoy the trip much more.

A fantastic experience travelling in the desert. Our guide, Aman, was knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and great for conversation. Be prepared for long drives, including some bumpy roads, but it's worth it for the otherworldly places you can see.

Our trip to Erta Ale was an incredible journey filled with wonderful nature and a deeply interesting cultural experience. The raw landscapes on the way to the volcano were absolutely breathtaking, offering a rare glimpse into one of the most unique environments on earth while immersing us in the fascinating traditions of the local culture. Our guide, Aman, did a fantastic job of enhancing this experience by being incredibly attentive throughout the journey, always ready to answer all of our questions with great knowledge and patience. However, it was Dani who truly became my favorite part of the crew. He was constantly making sure we had enough water, keeping us safe from being overexposed to the harsh sun, playing good music to keep the vibe alive, and displaying truly wonderful driving skills across the challenging terrain. I would recommend asking for his availability :)

My long-awaited Danakil tour was amazing! While it's certainly not cheap, the experience and emotions it provides are well worth the price. Thanks to our guide Aman, driver Dani, and chef Awet, it was a truly memorable experience. And a big thank you to Aklilu for the incredibly kind follow-up after the tour. This is a tour you absolutely must take if you come to Ethiopia.

Awesome trip. Took my kids to show then what nature can show is and ended up with a great trip in the Danakil Depression. It was hot but plenty of water helped. Great guide and what you just want to see and experience. Recommed it to anyone
