Awesome! Seeing Uluru and Kata Tjuta from the air is a blast. Lots of information from our pilot made the flight even more fabulous
A whole other level of viewing these unique geological creations. Awe inspiring. A must. Make sure you do both.
Started well with a pick up from our hotel to take us to the nearby helipad. All staff were very helpful especially the pilot who gave a running commentary of what we could see. However due to restrictions placed on the helicopters flight path the actual flight time and what we saw was a bit disappointing. We were only airborne for 20 minutes and we were only allowed to see one side of Uluru and Kata Tjuṯa only from a distance. Whilst I realise that there were restrictions placed on where the helicopter could fly this definitely had an adverse effect on the whole experience.
Enjoyable ride with stunning views of both Uluru and Kata Tjuta sitting on an equally stunning landscape. Pilot handled the winds very well and shared her local knowledge.
Was easy to organise and pay on line so stress free for the holiday. Pick up and drop off from hotel, quick and efficient. Great tram, friendly and a good laugh along the way. The actual flight was amazing!!! Smooth flight, spectacular views, very informative. Would highly recommend
Short trip but was great to see Uluru and Kata Tjuṯa They were on time picking us up and very good about explaining what to expect. Nice to see these amazing rocks from this perspective.
while I did not enjoy the left hand turns - my wife thoroughly enjoyed the entire trip - this was my first helicopter ride so I was uneasy about it as I'm not a good flyer - the service on the ground was excellent - the pilot was confident and knowledgeable about the trip and explained some sights along the way. The trip was well worth it and I would recommend it to anyone that wanted to see Uluru in a more spectacular way
A must when visiting Uluru. Amazing to see from the air. Adam was a great pilot and had all the answers. Weather was perfect.
The crew were excellent. But the flight was disappointing as our flight was too high and too far away from both rock formations only flying on 1 side of both rocks, I understand there are cultural conditions on flying around these rock formations which were not pointed out to you before the flight.Too many people in the helicopter especially when some of the public are of a larger size. The middle two people in the back seats were unable to take photos. Trevor Hullen
From the moment Remus picked us up from the front of our hotel you just had a feeling that you were in good hands. The helipad is only a short ten minute drive away where we were shown into a small administration shed to watch a short 5 minute safety video. Once complete we waited for the helicopter to arrive, which can take up to 6 passengers, not including the pilot. We were then ushered over in pairs to have a photo taken in front of the helicopter and then into our allocated seats where Remus buckled us in. I think our pilot's name was Daniel (?) and he was excellent throughout the trip. He had relevant information on Uluru & Kata Tjuta and always advised when he was going to manoeuvre the helicopter. You get a totally different perspective from up high and can see just how flat everything is outside of the rock formations. He even pointed out the Petermann ranges on the WA border which we could see on this mostly clear day. Twenty five minutes is probably just right to take in the stunning views. Overall a fantastic experience and one that should be considered by all who visit Uluru.
