La Comuna 13 era uno de los barrios más peligrosos de Medellín hace apenas 20 años, pero se ha transformado en un lugar muy colorido y vibrante. El cambio comenzó cuando el gobierno construyó escaleras mecánicas en la zona conectando así la zona con la ciudad de Medellín, de hecho estas fueron las primeras escaleras mecánicas instaladas en América Latina. Caminaremos por la Comuna 13, disfrutaremos de las mejores vistas, el arte callejero moderno y también realizaremos el viaje en estas escaleras mecánicas al aire libre. He vivido en la Comuna 13 la mayor parte de mi vida y he sido testigo del cambio con mis propios ojos, me complace presentarles la forma en que los lugareños y explorar los mejores lugares de la zona.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ If you’re visiting Comuna 13, do yourself a favor and book a tour with John. My group and I spent over two hours exploring the area with him, and it was easily one of the highlights of our trip to Medellín. John was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and passionate about sharing the history, culture, and transformation of Comuna 13. He didn’t just show us the famous murals and escalators—he brought the neighborhood’s story to life and gave us a much deeper understanding of the people who live there. What stood out most was how much he genuinely cared about making sure everyone had a great experience. He took his time answering questions, helped us with side requests, and made sure we never felt rushed. His energy, professionalism, and local insight made the tour both educational and enjoyable. By the end of the tour, I felt like I had learned more than I ever could from reading online or watching videos.
