Experimente una cata de vinos en Creta, la isla con más de 3500 años de tradición vinícola. Somos profesionales en el sector del vino desde 1998 y realmente amamos lo que hacemos. Nuestro equipo está formado por un sumiller, un chef y un enólogo. Visita nuestra bodega de piedra de 600 años de antigüedad, un espacio único que formaba parte de un antiguo Monasterio Dominico del siglo XV. Con esta experiencia probarás algunos de los mejores vinos de viñedos griegos, combinados con quesos y delicias locales. Cada participante recibirá una carpeta personalizada con información general sobre los vinos griegos (con especial atención a la historia del vino griego). Los vinos serán presentados con detalle por nuestro Sommelier, haciendo énfasis en sus características individuales. Degustarás una variedad de vinos, acompañados de refrigerios, y podrás visitar nuestra bodega construida en piedra del siglo XV. Los refrigerios incluyen: una variedad de bizcochos y palitos de pan, manzana verde, tomate, una variedad de quesos locales y Apaki (rebanadas de cerdo ahumadas cocinadas con vino vinsanto).

Maria was an excellent host and she was super educational. She taught us so much. I don’t drink a lot of wine but the class was still so much fun and an amazing experience. I was hesitant to do it because of the lack of knowledge I have wine and how little I drink of it, but I don’t have a single regret about it! I would do it again!! Maria is personable, knowledgeable, and didn’t judge in our lack of wine knowledge. She asked us where we were from and even gave tips on wine that is from the United States so we know back at home! If you’re on the fence, do it!!

The atmosphere is amazing. Maria did an amazing job showing us the ropes on how to properly assess and taste our wine. They gave us a wide variety of wines with each having its own distinct taste. We also paired our wine with cheeses from Crete. The pairings and wines were delicious. I’d highly recommend this tour to anyone interested in wine tasting.

Great wine tasting experience, we really enjoyed ourselves. We were the only ones booked in and having Maria our sommelier to ourselves was a treat. She was really knowledgeable and made lots of great recommendations and tips. The food was delicious, we really enjoyed the pork in sauce. Nice selection of wines to try too. Would definitely recommend to any wine lovers visiting Rethymno.

My husband and I had an absolutely amazing experience at our wine tasting! Maria was an expert sommelier and she helped us to understand food pairing as well as tasting and smelling wine. It truly was the best and most informative wine tasting we have been to. The atmosphere added to our experience as well. We stayed and enjoyed more wine and food at the beautiful restaurant! This wine tasting was fantastic. Maria is not only a wonderful hostess who couldn't be friendlier, but also an excellent sommelier with a wealth of knowledge that she loves to share. This is our first time in Greece, so she selected the wines accordingly and gave us an overview of Greek wines. We also learned and tasted how well wine and food can complement each other or not go together at all. We were so impressed that after the tasting we decided to have dinner at the Veneto restaurant. That too, together with the wine recommendation, left nothing to be desired. Thank you Maria for the wonderful evening!

Maria was lovely. She was prepared for us and had us a packet so we would have information about the wines and regions to take home . Or ended up being just the two of us so a private tasting. A good amount of wine, a good amount of food and she was informative, friendly and fun. Restaurant/hotel was a great atmosphere as well, located in the heart of the old city.

This place is a magic hidden gem in the middle of old town Rethymnon. The atmosphere and the service was 10/10. The wines were amazong and we learned so much about cretan wine and tradition. We came just before the summer season and got a private wine tasting. We got a tour of the wine cellar and two of the hotel suites. We loved every second and would recommend everyone to come here!!! Amazing!!
