Great evening. Nice small number, there were 9 of us. Host very welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable about regions, history and production of wines. The bread and nibbles were a nice touch. Wasn’t a rushed evening at all and 7 quality wines to try!

Wonderful experience!!! I wasn't excited about the location (I thought within the castle might be touristy) but the winery room was beautiful, classy and very well presented.

We were very disappointed with this wine tasting, which involved seven Slovenian wines, held in a wine bar in the castle that dominates central Ljubljana. The wines were of varying quality (there were a couple of very poor wines) and none were outstanding. There was no written information provided about the wines other than an extremely rudimentary tasting sheet. The tutor running the tasting was fairly knowledgeable but there was no introductory overview of winemaking in Slovenia and little in the way of visual information. The accompanying food was very limited - essentially some cheese, bread, and dried fruit. Although advertised as lasting two hours, the tasting was actually concluded in around one hour twenty minutes, whereupon we were told that we could taste another two wines for fifteen Euros. Having already paid fifty five Euros for the tasting we declined. We were encouraged to leave reviews of the tasting and the tasting sheet said that a 10% discount was given to people that left reviews. Over the years, I have enjoyed well over a hundred wine tastings at wine shops, bars and wineries around the world and this was one of the poorest. I cannot recommend it to fellow travellers.

A wonderful hour and a half journey through Slovenian wine. The setting at the castle was perfect and the cheese board that accompanied our 7 wines was generous. I'd highly recommend this experience as part of a trip to Ljubljana.

Easy to book wine experience in a stunning setting with a really lovely and warm host, with incredible local wine varieties and accompaniments!

A lovely evening spent sampling Slovenian wine and meeting new people. It was a lovely way to end our time in Ljubljana.

Ana did an amazing job explaining the wine and provided a great overview of the Slovenian wine regions. The setting is superb- highly recommend!
