Had a great time on the tour! Bob was very knowledgeable and patient with teaching people how to ride. It was a lot of fun and a great way to see the park areas. The segways were very easy to operate and if get there early as suggested, you'll have time to get familiar with riding. Overall, just a fun time.
Fabulous informative and fun! Bob was a great guide and taught us a lot about the history of the Huntington family as well as information on alligators, turtles, and other wildlife. The segways are a blast to ride. HIGHLY recommend!
The experience is worth it, but our guide Bob was very bad. I normally don't write person related reviews but I have to do it.
Bob was patient during the Segway training of the Seniors and Teens in our party. He made sure all members were caught up stopping every 50 yards or so. We learned so much about the eccentric owners of the Atalaya Castle and the economy of the South in the 1930s onward, alligators, egretsthat we saw along the causeway. Bob was customer-focuswd, offering to take family pictures and videos! The only suggestion is to make it a 3-hour Segway tour and include the Brookgreen Gardens.
The tour is great, and informative. The guide, I think was named Bob, is a different story. There were 5 people in our group. Every single person in the group felt like he was a smart a$$, and arrogant. He gave great information about the park, but we just couldn't get past his slick comments.
The meeting place is at a state park and you have to pay per person (not per vehicle) to park there. That was a surprise to us. Other than that the tour was amazing, the guide was very knowledgeable of local history, good sense of humor, and personable. Riding the segway is very fun. Even with no experience you can pick it up in a couple minutes. They training they offer before the tour is very thorough. Great group activity. We saw wildlife including an alligator!
We had a great experience. We were nervous about learning to ride the Segway, but our guide Bob did an awesome job getting us comfortable. Saw lots of alligators, and learned some local history. We would absolutely do this again!
We had a fantastic tour with an attentive and knowledgeable guide. The Segway training was clear and thorough, making us feel comfortable before heading out on the tour. During the trip, we saw a huge alligator and plenty of other wildlife. It was an amazing experience that we truly appreciated and highly recommend!
Our guide Bob did an excellent job of keeping us safe and giving us good information. Highly recommend this company.
Bob is a great guide. This was our first time riding a segway and he made sure we were comfortable handling the segway before starting the tour. I'd highly recommend Bob!
