Guide was excellent!!! Very knowledgeable and able to answer all questions. I would recommend this tour.
Great experience to see and hear about historic sites. Our thought was to see and learn via the bus ride, then go back by car if we wished to spend more time at the sites. We were able to get off the bus at a few sites. The guide and bus driver were very knowledgeable and friendly.
Very moving and informative tour. It was surprising to learn how large and widespread the battle was. The tour guide, John, was excellent.
Taking the tour bus was a fantastic decision! Gettysburg National Military Park is vast, and the tour guide brought the history to life with so much insightful information. It’s easily one of the best ways to experience the fields.
The tour was great. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and entertaining. Learned a ton in just a short time. Definitely worth it.
This was a terrific two-hour tour. The driver and the guide were knowledgeable and interesting. Our guide had much to tell us about the beautiful monuments. We were glad we heard all of the interesting tidbits and then we drove around again by ourselves and took photos of our favorites. This isn't a tour where there are photo ops, and there is only one time to get off to take a bathroom break. It was fine for us, but just know. Those that sat at the front to middle of the bus had an advantage of hearing much better than those in the rear of the bus. The air conditioner was loud and muffled the sound to those in the rear.
My husband, who knows a lot about the Civil War learned from the tour.
Loved the history and understanding the timeline of events. Tour guide was very knowledgeable. Enjoyed the AC on bus too
This was a good experience overall. It was definitely nice to be in an air conditioned bus on the day we went, as it was pretty hot and muggy! Our guide, John, was so knowledgeable. We learned a ton about the 3 days of the Gettysburg battle and saw monuments galore as John oriented us to where we were and what was happening in that place and time during the event. Very cool! We stopped at a few key places, but not many. I would say that it gives you just enough to have the complete picture, but you may want to take additional time to drive to some of the park on your own to visit certain places or to be able to read more of the monuments and information.
Outstanding guide. Very good driver. No way to choose or control other participants. Ability to ask questions, only brief time to leave the bus and explore.
We are so glad that you enjoyed your time on our Battlefield tour. Hope to see you in the future.
