This 2 day tour was excellent. I was lucky to have Daniela F as my guide for both days, incredibly professional with interesting stories and insights at each location. I recommend this tour if you are coming to see Iguazu Falls. The hotel was very nice too, with an easy walk to the Triple Frontiers.
Our two-day Iguazu Falls Viator trip was great. We chose to see the Brazilian side of the falls and spend a night in Brazil before seeing the Argentinian side of Iguazu Falls. Day one was magnificent! Seeing the massive falls from 'ground level' was overwhelming. The hotel accommodations provided by Viator were excellent, truly a 5-star hotel. On day 2 we saw the falls on the Argentinian side. Seeing them from above was a perfect ending to our Viator trip.
We loved the falls, Lucia is an amazing guide
This tour was amazing. Our guide, Ariel, was well organised and approachable to answer any questions. He ensured everyone was comfortable and kept well hydrated as it was very hot and humid during our stay in the region. It is a very busy tour but well worth it for the magnificence of the Iguassu Falls. There were some difficulties with information provided by the tour operator however they always responded to messages and clarified information when contacted. Be sure to do the jet boat ride if you do this tour- absolute fun, even if you get drenched.!!
If you arrive in the morning you cannot book into room until 3pm and our hotel was no where near any shops or restaurants so sat around for 4 hours until our tour started The tour itself was excellent
We stayed one night on the Argentinian side and visited both the Brazil and Argentina sides of the Falls over two days. The trails used on both sides were easily accessible with outstanding views! It was local school holidays, so quite crowded, but this did not spoil the experience. The trip was very well organised from start to finish. However, I would have liked more communication about the details of the trip leading up to the date. We were only informed just before each part of the trip about what to expect next. Also, we were dropped off at our hotel straight from the airport with 3 hours to fill in. We couldn’t access our room and no food was available for us to purchase and the Hotel was not near any cafes or restaurants. Having been on the go since 3.45am, we were quite tired and hungry at this stage. Overall, Buckrt List - ticked off! A definite highlight of our holiday.
This is a once in a lifetime experience which I highly recommend. The Falls, a UNESCO world heritage site and one of the 7 wonders of the world is mind blowing. I did the flight to the Falls which was easy and well organized, well organized logistics to get through immigration and to Brazil side of Iguazu, and then Argentina side of Falls the next day. I added on the Bird Sanctuary and the Boat Ride, both of which I highly recommend. Migel the guide was outstanding, knowledgable, well organized, good comms and wonderful. Can't say enough about this extraordinary experience.
A stunningly beautiful experience seeing one of the new 7 natural wonders of the world. Highly recommend seeing both sides of the falls. The all inclusive tour made it transport easy, and the overall experience was enjoyable and incredible. We stayed in central Iguaza on the Argentina side and the town is fun, lively, and touristy.
Trying to arrange our flights to Iguazu Falls was a nightmare. Our flt from Buenos Aires to Iguazu Falls was changed 3 times, including changing airports. That was followed by canceling the flight the night before - except that it was also the day we were leaving since it is an overnight flight to get to Buenos Aires. All flt to Iguazu Falls were booked and we couldn't get any flights until the next day. Instead of cutting out tour in half, the tour guide allowed us to do the missed portion on the last day (our late flt out to return to Buenos Aires). So, we got to see both sides of the fall. It was very nice of them to be that flexible. The tour was great! Except for one thunderstorm that lasted about 30 min, the weather worked out for us. Our guide was great in handling all the paperwork transitioning the Brazil-Argentina border. I wouldn't want to do that on my own. I wish the Brazil side tour was another 30min longer since we felt rushed and left the park around noon time - giving us about 90 min at the park. The crowd was quite big and it took almost that amount of time to get to the end point. However, the views from the Brazil side was the best.
This excursion truly was the highlight of our trip that included a 22 day cruise from Santiago to Buenos Aires via Antarctica. It was the biggest diamond in a trip full of diamonds. Pre-Excursion, Dayron with Signature DMC A DMC Network Company, did a great job of answering our questions and making our arrangements. The transfers from hotels to airports through out the tour were handled very professionally, friendly and were of not stress to us.. Our first day was a private tour of the Argentina side of the Falls with Martin (guide) and Christian (driver). Both were fantastic host. Martin was one of the best guides I have had the pleasure of being involved with. His English was fantastic and he took the time to converse with us, to find our interest. As the day developed and he learned more about us he adjusted our pace and what he told and showed us. After Martin left and Christian took us to Brazil for the night, he too did a fantastic job of talking with us and telling us about the area. Our hotel accommodations in Brazil were clean, comfortable, spacious, and had a great view of the city. The staff was very patient with us as we navigated their establishment with only English. The only, and very minor issue, with the trip occurred here at the hotel and I'm not sure where the fault lies. We thought we were going to have a place to shower and change at the hotel after the second day. We did not. Fortunately the day was relatively cool and we did not need a shower. We were able to change in the lobby restrooms. This could be a big problem if the weather was hotter and we had perspired a lot. The second day was a visit to the Brazilian side of the Falls. Again our guide and drivers were professional, kind, and took the time to answer any questions we had. Because this was not a private tour, we missed some of the personal touches Martin and Christian had given us, but overall the drivers and guide again did a fantastic job. If you are in the area this tour is a must. The two sides of the Falls are very different but awe inspiring. I will admit that the Brazilian side is a must for its overall views of the falls. The Argentinian side is a must see for really getting to know the falls and wildlife. You must see both sides to really appreciate the majesty of Iguazu Falls. I would not hesitate to do this tour again.
