This was very well run, and we felt safe & comfortable on the segways - even on sometimes bumpy & crowded sidewalks - based on the training, experience, & attentiveness of the guide (John). We had 6 in our group: 5 who had various levels of experience on a Segway and 1 who did not. Everyone did great. It is a fun way to see some Atlanta neighborhoods (we covered a bit over 8 miles) and learn a bit of Atlanta history. Notes/Tips: I would characterize this as the fun of riding a Segway through various neighborhoods along with an introduction to bits of Atlanta history in selecting this as an activity - but not as a way of getting an in depth history tour if that is the priority. We were responsible for providing our own hydration (water & Gatorade were available for purchase at a reasonable price in the meeting location).
John was amazing. We went about 8 miles. I had never been on a Segway but it was fun and easy. The trip is highly recommended. I would do it again. A+++++ rated. We are from Atlanta and learned thing we did not know. Great outing for a group.
This was by far the best and most intimate way to see downtown Atlanta. It was the absolutely a wonderful outing.
This was our first time on a Segway (we are in our 70s). Easy to ride and lots of fun. My wife and myself were the only two in the tour so we had a private tour with John. John was extremely helpful to our needs and knew the area like the back of his hand. Would definitely do a tour again the next time we are in Atlanta.
It takes a little while to feel comfortable using the segway but John was very patient and an excellent teacher. Zooming around the city was fun and I enjoyed the tour.
So much fun! There were a few people in our group who were nervous about the Segway and traffic. It was wasted energy. The staff made us comfortable on the Segway with thorough hands on training before we hit the road. The tour was informative and fun. The guide was outgoing and accommodating. Top notch experience.
Fun way to explore Atlanta, beautiful areas. Would recommend this adventure. We stayed downtown and it was nice to see the surrounding area and learn a little history as well.
Great tour guide. He made sure we could safely cross city streets on the Midtown tour. Very nice guide. Excellent locations visited: Georgia Tech, Ansley Park, Olympic Park, etc.
Great way to see the sights in and around Atlanta! The initial hands on tutorial was great to find my proverbial feet! Guide was very attentive to point out any bumps and signal directions. Would recommend to anyone new to Atlanta or segways!
Unique, Fun Way to See a Lot. Has pouch to store belongings. Entrance is next to the convenience store. Our guide, John, was great!
