Descripción general de la caminata Día 01: Vuelo a Lukla (2,804 m) y Trek a Phakding (2,610 m) - 4 horas. Día 02: Trekking a Namche Bazaar (3,441 m) - 5 horas. Día 03: día de aclimatación al bazar Namche Día 04: Trek a Tengboche (3,860 m) - 5 horas. Día 05: Trekking a Dingboche (4,350 m) 4 - 5 horas. Día 06: Caminata de aclimatación al pico Nangkartshang (5.083 m) 3 - 4 horas. Día 07: Trekking a Lobuche (4,910 m) 4 - 5 horas. - Día 01: Katmandú - Lukla - Phakding (2,651m / 8,700 pies): 30 minutos de vuelo, 3 - 4 horas de caminata
- Tomamos un vuelo temprano por la mañana a Lukla y comenzamos nuestra caminata. El sendero luego conduce a Phakding a través del pueblo de Cheplung desde donde obtenemos una magnífica vista del monte. Khumbila, una montaña sagrada que nunca ha sido elevada. Noche en Phakding.
- Día 02: Phakding - Namche (3,438m / 11,280 pies): 4-5 horas
- Continuamos nuestra caminata por el sendero que va hacia el norte por el valle de Benkar. Cruzamos el río Dudh Koshi y pasamos por las aldeas de Chumoa y Monjo que conducen a la entrada al Parque Nacional del Everest. Luego pasamos el pueblo de Jorsale cruzando un puente colgante y caminamos junto a los ríos Dudh Koshi y Bhote Koshi. - Día 03: Día de aclimatación - Namche Bazaar: (3,440m / 11,284ft)
- Exploramos Namche Bazaar y subimos al Parque Nacional Sagarmatha y disfrutamos del amanecer sobre el Himalaya, incluido el monte. Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Ama Dablam, Thamserku, Kongde, etc. Si estamos interesados en una caminata de un día, podemos caminar hasta el pueblo de Khumjung. Alojamiento en Namche Bazaar.
- Día 04: Namche Bazar a Tengboche (3,870 m / 12,694 pies): 5-6 horas
- La caminata hasta Phunki es una caminata fácil. Desde aquí ascendemos hacia el pueblo de Tengboche explorando el famoso monasterio de Tengboche, el monasterio más grande de la región del Everest. Se encuentra dentro del Parque Nacional Sagarmatha, que es Patrimonio de la Humanidad por la UNESCO. El monasterio está bendecido con vistas panorámicas del Himalaya, incluido el monte. Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, Ama Dablam y Thamserku. El Monasterio Tengboche abre a las 3:00 pm, así que si llegamos allí a las 4 en punto podemos observar una ceremonia religiosa budista.
- Día 05: Tengboche a Dingboche (4,360 m / 14,300 pies): 5 - 6 horas
- Caminamos cuesta abajo hasta Debuche y cruzamos el río Imja para llegar a Pangboche. La caminata continúa pasando por el sendero superior Pangboche y explorando el Monasterio Pangboche. Continuamos nuestra caminata hacia Dingboche a través del valle de Imja y el río Lobuche. Pasaremos la noche en Dingboche.
- Día 06: Dingboche: aclimatación
- Pasar un día en Dingboche nos ayudará a aclimatarnos a la gran altitud. Podemos pasar tiempo caminando hasta la colina unas cuatro horas detrás de Dingboche para ver los picos más altos del mundo, incluidos Lhotse, Makalu y Cho Oyu. Pasaremos la noche en Dingboche.
- Día 07: Dingboche - Lobuche (4.900 m)
- La caminata continúa caminando alrededor de 7 horas (9 km) a lo largo del sendero del Himalaya en dirección al famoso campamento base del pico más alto del mundo, explorando la impresionante vista de las montañas. El sendero continúa a través del paso Dughla hasta el pueblo de montaña de Lobuche para pasar la noche.
- Día 08: Lobuche - Gorak Shep 5160 m - Campamento Base del Everest 5365 m
- Hoy continuamos nuestra caminata hacia el campamento base del Everest caminando durante un largo día de casi 12 horas (17 km) hasta Gorakshep. Después de llegar a Gorak Shep, regístrese en el albergue, almuerce y camine hasta el campamento base para disfrutar de impresionantes vistas de las montañas Nuptse, Khumbuste y Pumori. Luego caminamos de regreso a Gorakshep desde el campamento base para pasar la noche.
- Día 09: Gorakshep - Kala Pathar 5555 metros - Pheriche 4200 m
- Después del desayuno temprano, caminamos hasta el punto más alto de la caminata, Kalapatthar, para disfrutar de una magnífica vista del Everest más alto del mundo y de otras montañas como Lingtren, Khumbutse y Changtse. - Día 11: Trekking a Namche Bazaar (3,441 m) - 7 horas

We decided to the Everest Base camp trek and booked with Himalayan Sanctuary Adventure (HSA) back in 2020 pre- COVID. When we had to cancel everything due to the pandemic , Bishnu from HSA quickly authorized the refund and we got our money back from Tour radar straight away. In the nearly two years that followed for us to re-book everything to attempt to the Everest base camp hike again, Bishnu kept in contact with us giving us an update on the COVID situation in Nepal and just general advice about travelling to Nepal during a pandemic. He made us feel secure and wanting to book a big trip such as Everest base camp again during these uncertain times. The service from Bishnu was excellent from the start- meeting us at the airport to dropping us back there for our return flight to the UK. The leaving gift of a Nepalese scarf was a nice touch as we left Nepal with fond memories of our EBC trip and holiday. He was also very flexible in accommodating changes we requested to our itinerary such as moving our Kathmandu city tour to another day in order to accommodate a visit to the Chitwan National Park post the EBC trek. In summary, we could not have chosen a better company then HSA for our unforgettable EBC trek. I would highly recommend HSA for anyone looking to book an EBC trek or holidaying in Nepal.

Wow! What an experience to see the mystical site of Everest Base Camp. We also trekked over Chola pass to Gokyo before returning back to Lukla. From the very beginning, the service and attention to details was superb by the staff. From the moment my family and I arrived in Kathmandu, Himalayan Sanctuary Adventure was there to help plan our trip. From giving us ideas of where to trek to escorting us to a store to purchase necessary equipment, they were there to lend a hand. I also felt like they never were pushy or trying to promote something to us we didn't want. They allowed us to make a decision and then we went from there. It was seamless. They purchased the airline tickets to Lukla for us. While trekking, you could sense the care that the guide and porter provided us. As customers, our needs were important. It is nice that "service" to the customer still means something here. The guide was helpful in teaching us about the culture of the region, as well as providing us with the facts about the scenery. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. I definitely would recommend Himalayan Sanctuary Adventures to friends and family. You will not be disappointed.

Himalayan Sanctuary Adventure organized everything for us from transfers to and from the hotels, permits for trekking, Guide and Porter for trekking, Accommodation during the trek, food on the trek, duffel bags (which is needed for the trek) . We were delayed by two days due to weather in Lukla and this was beyond our control, however bishnu were able to arrange with hotels and transport for the extra nights in Kathmandu. The journey to EBC is spectacular with amazing views and wonderful friendly people however not an easy one, it really is something that tests you as an individual and one needs to be strong minded when performing this trek. I am proud and glad to say I have achieved this. We definitely received great hospitality from the Himalayan Sanctuary Adventure who went out of their way to ensure we had a great experience, in my opinion, if one is thinking about doing any trekking in Nepal don't even think about any other company besides Himalayan Sanctuary Adventure. Bishnu , Prem and all the Trekking Staff are wonderful who will go out of their way for you to ensure you achieve your goals.
