1 week intensive Spanish course + conversation workshop

I attended a three week Spanish intensive course with conversation group at Taronja Spanish school. I can honestly say it was one of the best decisions I made toward my journey toward Spanish fluency. The professors are fun, energetic, and each have their own teaching styles which I like. The school is also great about involving all the students in extracurricular activities and cultural events, It is much more than just learning Spanish. It’s also learning culture.

I am an Italian girl who studied for the third time at Taronja School for two weeks and this time I was very satisfied. First of all the teachers I had were Paula, Miguel, Micaela, Néstor, Nerea, Pablo, Salva and Laura and I thank them for their kindness that they transmitted to the students in class, very organized and at the same time engaging during the lesson, but especially I thank Miguel because from my personal experience she is a teacher that I had since the first year and is always smiling, she manages to unlock the most shy people and also very good. In addition, inside the school there are two very helpful and kind directors in case of student need. The school always organizes a welcome meeting every Monday for new students and it is very useful because you will know Stefano, organizer of the trips and Andrés, head of teachers and both are two very welcoming people and do not be afraid to ask them for information. In addition to my opinion this venue is more beautiful and large than the previous one because it offers a terrace and you can enjoy it during the break and during the lessons do not be afraid to speak Spanish with your teachers because they are very kind and will be happy to help you and that you learn as soon as possible. That said, I hope to return to Taronja a fourth year.

4 days of Spanish lessons attended by Taronja Spanish School in the old town of Valencia. You will be assigned to a level and if necessary, you can switch levels. So everyone is really looked at individually. The profesoress are very enthusiastic and almost everything is also in Spanish, you learn a lot from that. Outside of class hours, there is an activity program where you can join in. You will meet fellow students from all over the world. I've had some really nice contacts. Back in the Netherlands I sign up for the online course and hope to go to school in Valencia for another week in September. All ages are welcome. Henriette (55 years)

I really like school, teachers explain everyone and activities help me speak and understand Spanish. Everything is well organized and Valencia is a very agreable city.

I had already come to do a Spanish course in July 2021 for two weeks. I found myself very comfortable because I made a lot of progress with the language. The teachers I had are very knowledgeable and I really liked their teaching method. Personally I found myself very well with Miguel Angel because he is a teacher always smiling, engaging and above all he can put people at ease making them feel at home. This year I went back to Taronja School for three weeks and I am feeling very good because interesting topics are covered during the lessons. I thank all the teachers I have known so far for the progress I have had this year.

People who come to the school vary and are placed in English as well as Spanish environments. Teachers are also very polite in how they teach and talk to other people in class, so even those who say they are not good at interacting with other people can do so. There are some really beautiful and cool people, so I think people who want to get to know each other better will enjoy learning English quite a bit. Basically, there are many good people, so I don't think there's anything particularly troubling about it. There are also events every day, rice and sake events are usually the best. Let's eat a lot of rice.

Now it is my third time at escuela Taronja and I like it a lot. First time I have been there for 4 weeks without any knowledge of espagñol! But after this trip I could finally speak a bit. In such a short time I have studied a lot! After lessons they are offering some actividades like paella, pasear, cantame club, clase de cocina,...... Many other programe. Finally I can really recommend you taronja! ¡Hasta luego! ;)

I had 1 week intensive course with 1 hour. Conversation workshop booked. Upon registration, a placement test (written and oral via mobile phone video or telephone call) had to be completed. On the first day there was a first meeting where the course was divided and the organization of the school was explained. Classes were daily changing in the morning (9-12.45) and afternoon (2.30-18.15), plus conversation about 1.30-2.30 (only included in the first week). Group size officially up to 10 people, but mostly only 5-6 were present. Composition international, ages 18 to 70, with the younger usually staying for several months. I was in the advanced course (B2) and learned a lot, especially my uncertainty when speaking I was able to overcome. The mood was excellent, we laughed a lot, talked about all sorts of topics and also learned many words of the colloquial language. Every evening there were various activities where you could exchange ideas with other students and the teachers (also almost exclusively in Spanish). Excursions were also offered on weekends. Overall highly recommended!

It was a vacation at university, and I decided to go to Spain for a week, while getting Spanish. It's a really cool experience, even in a week I felt my Spanish go to basics from almost nothing. Very inspiring, different completely people from different countries were in classes and at events, a lot of cool dating happened. If you want to practice a lot of Spanish, go ahead. Take up residence with your family - you won't speak Russian or English at all. I communicated with the host mom using a translator on my phone 😂 Teachers are not boring. Events keep people from staying at home. The only downside is that sometimes you learn in the evenings, it was really hard for me. And, of course, the saddest part is leaving after one week. Some come for three months, some come for six, some move in altogether. And you get into that atmosphere and leave in a week.
