Teresa was so pleasant and gave us valuable information on the places that we went.
We only had one day in Zurich and this was a great way to make the most of it. We learned about the history of the city while enjoying a generous amount of different types of chocolate treats made in Switzerland. The education on the variety of chocolates was very interesting and helped support our purchases at the end of the trip for what to bring home. The boat ride was nice but we ended up being some of the last to board making it a bit difficult to secure the best seats.
We had a great tour with Teresa. Our three teens were with us and it was just the right amount of walking (1 hour) with several chocolate tastings and a gelato before boarding the ferry to see the top part of the lake. Teresa was super friendly and very knowledgeable. Got to see Zurich from several perspectives.
Thank you for choosing our tour and for taking the time to leave a review. We are happy to hear that everything went smoothly and that you had a great time.
Tour Guide Teresa is fun, knowledgeable and keeps tour moving.
Thanks so much for your review! We’re really glad you enjoyed it :)
The tour guide makes or breaks the tour and Teresa was incredible. From a great demeanor to her deep knowledge, she was an excellent guide. We learned about the history of Zürich as will as the chocolate industry in the area.
Thank you for your wonderful review. We are pleased to know that the guide helped make your experience enjoyable and unforgettable. Have a fantastic journey ahead!
The tour was overpriced for what we got. The guide was pleasant but her English was 75% understandable. Thank goodness we had just come off another 12 day tour of Switzerland or we would not have understood the history ‘lesson’. Guide walked very fast and did not wait for the group to congregate before she began speaking about the area. There was a triathlon in the city and streets were closed off. Guide should have done research ahead of time on routes to take which could have saved the group extra walking through detours. Felt very rushed from site to site…tour was supposed to last 4 hours and we finished in 3 hours. On a positive note…boat cruise was nice and chocolates were tasty.
This trip was very well organized and led by an extremely confident tour guide. Kateryna had such an excellent personality and kept us very well informed. We totally enjoyed our time with her and the excursion. Guests should be reminded there is a reasonable amount of walking involved
We are grateful for your positive review. It was our pleasure to host you, and we are glad you left with great memories from the tour.
Our guide was professional , polite and very knowledgeable. She took the time to explain and answer all our questions. She made us feel welcome and comfortable . She was absolutely amazing!
We appreciate your kind feedback. Hope to see you again someday!
Hello George. We thoroughly enjoyed this experience. We loved the flow of the tour with the hour long cruise permitting us to rest and enjoy beautiful lake Zurich & ending with one last delicious bite of chocolate. Perfect!
Thank you for taking the time to leave us such a positive review. We are glad the guide provided an enjoyable and informative experience. Safe travels!
The guide was great. The tour was terrible. $356 for 8 pieces of chocolate. You can save the money and go to three chocolate stores and save $200. The tour guide was amazing. We loved her. Unfortunately, we would never recommend doing this and we really regret this.
Dear Stephanie, Your review is difficult to understand, but for the benefit of future travelers, we would like to clarify several points. First, your statement that "the guide was great" while "the tour was terrible" is contradictory. The guide is an integral part of the experience, and if the guide was as amazing as you claim, then describing the entire tour as "terrible" is simply not consistent with the experience you received. Second, your claim that this was "$356 for 8 pieces of chocolate" is misleading. The tour is not a chocolate purchase. It is a guided Zurich city tour that includes approximately two hours of sightseeing with a local guide, visits to local chocolate shops for tastings, and a lake cruise. Reducing the entire experience to the number of chocolate samples ignores the majority of what was included and what was clearly advertised. Third, our tour description explicitly states that guests visit three local chocolate shops and enjoy chocolate tastings during the tour. That is exactly what was provided. We delivered the experience precisely as described. If your expectation was to receive large quantities of chocolate, that expectation did not come from our listing. What is most disappointing is that your review criticizes the tour for offering exactly what was advertised and exactly what was delivered. Travelers are encouraged to read the tour description before booking to ensure the experience matches their expectations. We stand by the quality of this tour, the accuracy of our description, and the excellent work of our guide. While we respect your right to express your opinion, we believe your review gives a misleading impression of the experience and does not accurately reflect what was purchased or provided.
