Booked with less than 12 hours notice! Received immediate confirmation, driver Simon arrived on time, and everything was ready for a morning boat safari on the Zambezi. Captains Musha and Bright were deliberate about seeking out colorful local bird species, including kingfishers and bee-eaters, my favorites. Also learned a lot about young crocodiles, which were surprisingly miniature. Finished the cruise with tea and snacks on an island overlooking the river. So satisfied to have invested this time on an unexpected layover!
Dear Kathleen We’re delighted to hear that your last-minute booking worked out smoothly and that everything was well organized for your Zambezi River safari. It’s wonderful to know that Simon, Captain Musha, and Captain Bright made your experience both enjoyable and informative, especially with the bird sightings and insights about the young crocodiles. We’re especially pleased that you found the cruise relaxing and that the island tea stop added a special touch to your layover in Livingstone. Creating memorable and meaningful experiences for our guests is always our goal. We look forward to welcoming you back for another adventure in the near future. Warm regards Bush Wilderness Safaris Team
Our pilots/guides, Rueben and Paul, obviously love sharing the river with guests. They are very knowledgeable about the birds and animals, as well as the ecology of the river overall. It felt like going out with friends who also happen to be experts in what we were seeing. Additionally, by being in a boat, somehow the creatures weren't skittish like they would be if we were on land. That afforded great viewing and photo opportunities.
We had a wonderful moment with you. Thank you for your support.
