Our driver, Takis, picked us up at our hotel and we learned we had his services to ourselves for the next few hours. It was like having our own chauffeur with local knowledge. As we travelled to the sunset meal, Takis informed us of local points of interest and stopped the vehicle to allow us to take photos. Our first scheduled stop was ‘Crow Island’, a beautiful spot on the west of Zante with steep cliffs overlooking the clear blue sea. After leaving Crow Island we took the ‘Greek Massage’ Takis promised - a drive over rough terrain that had us bouncing in our seats. We found it so much fun, with a few points of interest along the way - 1,000 year old Olive trees, pre 1953 earthquake buildings, goats and more goats. Loved it. Then on to Porto Roxa to enjoy our meal (included in the price) as the sun set over the blue sea. At this point Takis left us to enjoy a romantic setting. Me and my wife may be in our 60s but we still enjoy special moments! Takis didn’t hurry us and left us to enjoy the sunset. We thank him for that. Then off back to our hotel, with the drive in darkness. I thoroughly recommend this excursion. Takis was the star and we had our photo taken with him for the special memory he gave us.

We changed the date because of the weather and that was dealt with wonderfully. The trip was fantastic, we went with Takis and he was brilliant. The drive there was great, the sunset was unbelievable, the food was lovely. Overall i would recommend anyone to do this trip.
