Awesome, boat driver was very good and told us about the ship wreck and beach!
This trip was nice, but to do again, I would probably choose something else 😅 A big stop in Sakarun (which is very nice, it's true, but other beaches in Croatia are well worth a visit), then back home. Without the snacks indicated in the description. However, water, coca and beer were available. If you have to choose, prefer to go to other islands and save a little here! Our skipper was very nice!
The promise is huge but the actual is overpriced and misleading like an internet dating site!! It came up on Tripadvisor as on price, till you select a date and the price goes up! You then have to go to the main office where you are expected to pay an extra €15 per person because you booked it through Tripadvisor, had you booked directly it is included. They say you are offered light snacks and Saltene sticks , none of which were available. You get 20 minutes at the ship wreck, The beach are was nice but you are there during the hottest part of the day!! Spent more time on the boat than the activities!! Avoid, been on better trips!
We want to sincerely apologize for not meeting your expectations during our trip. One of our main goals is to be transparent in advertising so you can find all the necessary information on Viator's site before booking our tour. The price for any date in the season is clearly highlighted, and among the things not included, you can find listed Anchoring & Berthing Fees of 15 euros for a half-day tour. Given that we are time-limited to 4.5 hours for a half-day tour, and the distance of the nicest places from Zadar, we try to present all the beauties of the Zadar archipelago in the best possible way. Thank you for your feedback, we will use it to improve future services. Best Regards, Zadar Archipelago team
The trip was really amazing we had a lot of fun, it was totally worth the money, the skipper was very thoughtful about our safety
Dear Nastja, Thank you for your kind words. We are thrilled we met your expectations. We hope you will recommend us to your family and friends. Kind Regards, Zadar Archipelago team
Great event, very nice operators! Well-planned excursion, impressive shipwreck and beautiful bay
Vielen Dank, dass Sie sich die Zeit für die Bewertung genommen haben. Wir freuen uns, dass Sie einen schönen Tag bei uns verbracht haben. Wir hoffen, Sie wiederzusehen! Alles Gute, Zadar Archipelago team
THIS WAS THE WORST EXPERIENCE OF OUR LIVES!!! I CAN NOT STRESS ENOUGH AT HOW ABSOLUTELY ABSURD AND UNRELAXING THIS WHOLE TRIP WAS. THey do not show any photos of the boat. It is like riding a donkey going 100 miles an hour across choppy waters! There is no room to move and if you think you are going fo relax and take a photo your stuff will go flying! It’s 1.5 hours of straight speed and hair straight back! I was bawling my eyes out and I grew up around all sorts of fast boats my whole life! We got to sakarun beach for only 40 minutes than it was 1.5 hours back of straight hell. All four of us cannot even move our bodies today from the death grip we had to have on this marine style zodiac boat! This was an absolutely ridiculous description of this tour! Two of us have back injuries and the rest of our holiday we will be recouping from this horrifying experience! How dare they charge us 433.00 plus the 60.00 euros on top they charged us when we got there! The four of us could have charted a beautiful boat for the day with lunch and champagne! This was due 4 .5 hour tour from Zadar to Sakurun beach
Dear Dean, we are genuinely sorry that your experience with us was suboptimal. We have to state that type of boat is clearly visible on multiple pictures across many websites - it is RIB 9 m long for 12 persons - wave hight that day did not exceed more than 2 ft in fact it was calmer than usual this time of the year we go regularly out with waves higher than that. It is clearly stated on all websites where we sell that this tour is not recommended for persons who have back issues, pregnant women and people with impaired mobility - even on completely calm seas you will come across some waves which can have adverse impact you if you have problems with your back. In hope of better understanding in the future yours sincerely Mate Base Manager
Amazing experience. We were guided around by Luka and he did a fantastic job. He made sure everyone was entertained and had plenty of drinks along the way. Definitely recommend this tour
Bedankt voor de tijd die u heeft genomen om een recensie te schrijven, we zijn blij dat we een deel van uw vakantie beter hebben gemaakt
Loved it, maybe a bit expensive cos of the 15€ extra fee when we got there. But otherwise, we loved it, even got to see some dolphins.
Dear Jasmin, thank you for the time taken to write this review, glad that you had wonderful time with us, recommend us to your friends and family and hope to see you next year again.
Great boat trip. Snorkeling near a wreck and swimming in a heavenly cove. To finish, drinks available on the boat. Great family outing.
Cordialement, Zadar Archipelago Team
Very interesting and compelling boat tour, with exciting views and relatively good quality information from the skipper! The downside is a 50' ride to the first site where the shipwreck is located: bumpy and speedy trip due to the speed boat but also lack of sunshade because the boat is not fitted with a roof so it can take care of sun rays bad for skin. Strongly recommend wearing anti UV clothes and a hat you can buckle on your head and chin. Otherwise, you will end up holding your hat in one hand while the other holds on the handle bar because of highspeed trip. At the snorkelling site of the shipwreck it's super nice if you bring a underwater proof camera to shoot from below the site. Thumbs up for the skipper who will provide the tourists with snorkelling mask and tube (Decathlon) which is not great because it's not high quality mask...you may bring your own mask if you own a better quality one. The second site is brilliant at the Sakarun beach where you get to sunbathe and swimm for about 1h50m which is just enough so you can take a swimm near the white luxury yachts and enjoy the swing installed on the beach. During the whole tour skipper provides its tourists with water or juice, salty snack, also beer (for adults). At the end of the tour skipper will take you to a third location (it's a nice surprise) where you actually can enjoy some chilly nice shade. Tips would be nice to give to the skipper at the end of the tour! :)
