My wife and I enjoyed this trip very much. The boat that we went on was smaller than the one pictured as there were only 8 people on the trip (inc us). The boat was fast enough (25mph) on choppy waters. The beaches were lovely and lunch was good. Our host was very welcoming and kept us informed throughout the day. It was an excellent way of seeing more of Croatia as we were staying in a hotel without a car. Expect to pay €20 (each) docking fee as advertised on the listing.
very poorly organized tour, very expensive for this tour. This can be described as a luxury gate. Why? The boat very old, the At collection point entered incorrectly, had to make a follow-up phone call, look where it was, nobody took care of us where we were, even after 15 minutes, instead of apologizing we were equally mulled and money requires 20 euros each per person because for parking must be paid extra, but it says that the parking fees are included in the price. We will certainly never get that money back. The food was so lala, did not taste us at all, there were also no drinks, even not to buy on the boat, far too little time to inquire from then look at places and only one opportunity to swim in the wonderful, warm, clear sea. Ever talked about the ride, tells what we're passing where we are. We have disappointed. So beautiful places we wanted to visit and were just stressed. In the end, we were the only ones on board to be abandoned in the other spot, there were problems again....so stay away from the tour . I thought for a long time whether I write the review so honestly now, but it was ride for everyone who watches the tour out there. Keep looking... not book this one.
The speedboat tour was absolutely amazing! I really enjoyed the beaches, the sea, the lunch, and our skipper, Goran. However, I was disappointed that there was no first aid kit, no lifebuoys, and no life jackets on the boat. I also believe that visiting the sunken ship is quite dangerous due to the high risk of injury. Out of our group of five, three of us got cuts, and I personally sustained a deep cut that required stitching and bled a lot. I consider myself lucky to have come out relatively okay. Additionally, a girl had cut her head the day before, so I feel that visiting the rusty Ostrog ship isn’t very safe.
This speedboat tour is not exactly cheap for a family of 4, as children also incur the amount of €100 per person. Nevertheless, it is a unique experience where you can experience different and extraordinary beaches, the sunken ship and the submarine tunnel within a day. A good lunch also included. We had a very polite and friendly "captain" with Jure. For those who are not afraid of the price, definitely recommended!
Great day out on the water. The speed boat was the perfect mix of comfort and speed, allowing us to get to 5 different locations, swim, snorkel, visit a wreck, a quick 5 minute floating visit to an old maritime bunker, a great stop for lunch in a small water side village and then more swimming on the return. The rigid hull inflatable boat had comfortable seats for a speed boat, enough space for a small backpack underneath and a shade cover for all the passengers. Small group of 10-12 only for seating which made it more relaxing without the crowds. The operator was polite, proficient and engaging. For a day out on the water with various swimming location, it was great. Depending on your booking you may need to take €20 per person for marine park fees (payable to your guide). Also recommend taking some water, drinks or snacks. There are cafes and bars at some of the beaches but you will pay €€€. If you like snorkelling it may be worth bringing your own snorkel and fins to accompany the provided mask.
We left for this experience with quite high expectations, compared to the description we had read on TripAdvisor. The places visited are wonderful, but it would have been advisable to make longer stops especially at the beaches of Veli Rat and Sakarun Beach. In fact, in the descriptions the stop time was at least one hour, but in the end we were told that we had to stay 45 minutes maximum (except for Sakarun, where we stayed for 1 hour and 10). The TripAdvisor description does not say that drinks are not included in the price (one water and two coffees 9€!!!). To conclude, I can say that the places visited are really beautiful, but the price seems excessive (120€ including the 20€ fee for the marine protected area).
good day, on the product website it says that drinks are not included in the price. You passed all the Stations and stayed exactly as long as it says in the information about the excursion. If it was short for you, you can go on an excursion another day, thank you
Good and knowledgeable skipper and a fine, fast boat. Convenient: pick-up point was close to our accommodation. Sakarun Beach was beautiful. But we stayed there half an hour less and that was a shame. They should have skipped the stop in front of the lighthouse. Although we could order a drink on land, because that was not possible on board. Missed opportunity. But the biggest setback was the military tunnel. Have to pay €20 extra per person. For a stay of 5 minutes in an artificially created and dead end piece of concrete and therefore not 45 minutes. Although it certainly wouldn't have been necessary. And you had no choice. With our fellow passengers it was also included in the price, so we felt screwed. Lunch was disappointing, the vegetarian option turned out to be a sticky hamburger sandwich without filling but with sauce and vegetables. The meat version: three pieces of beef (?), a little bit, mashed boiled potato and a bowl of cabbage. Nice spot in the harbor though. But we had to pay for the accompanying drink ourselves. Closing stop on sandy beach? In any case, no sandy beach! And not stayed an hour.
Dear Sir/Madam, we apologize first if the meal was not satisfactory because all our guests praise the restaurant and the food, and you could have asked for a replacement of the meal if it did not suit you. Other guests bought a ticket directly at the agency and paid for the ticket price for the protected marine area, which of course is not a military tunnel but an anchorage, Sakarun bay and the Veli rat lighthouse. You visited all the stops and even your trip was extended 45 minutes longer at your request and you visited all 6 stops. On leaving, you thanked and said that the trip was excellent, so now it is not clear to us what this review is for. Thank you
Great trip. We wanted speed and beautiful experiences. This trip delivered, with 2-3 beautiful beaches, shipwreck, historical u-boat tunnel and a restaurant in a small cosy village. Thanks for a great ride.
The speed boat and company were great, you can never tell what a tour group is gonna be like and everyone was cool. My meal was also delicious, I had the seafood option. I was a little disappointed with Sakarun beach though, there was a lot of brown debris on the rocks. Maybe dead seaweed? The water was beautiful though.
Hello, Thank you for your review. Brown on Saharun beach is seaweed brought by the strong southerly wind and waves. The European Commission has banned its cleaning because it is a protected species of marine organisms that are used to produce the pillows we all sleep on. I hope you were satisfied with the rest of the trip and the places you visited. Thank you for your remark and we hope to resolve your remark soon.
Excellent tour, beautiful islands and time to swim at different beaches. The food was very good and the service from Marko and his team was perfect!
