Zadar 2 Islands Hopping and Snorkeling during half day boat tour

Beware particularly if on a cruise We booked this tour in February for our cruise in July stoping at Zadar. We were in a taxi en route for the trip and got a message to say it was cancelled because of the weather. We pointed out that although it had been overcast and raining early on by 9am it was bright and clear. There was no wind and conditions were not unsafe. We were simply told this was the captains decision. l attach video of the conditions. Given we were on a cruise this was very disappointing. There were several other families in the same situation yet many boats docked at the meeting point and were conducting trips as usual. We ended up getting in a boat at a higher price and having to pay cash. We wonder if the boat was the same company as it was an identical boat and same trip. My advice is to avoid this company. If the weather had been inclement I would completely understand be it simply wasn't. Poor experience

The guide was very skilled and the service was good, we even got some free beverages offered for refreshing after swimming. We had a very good time while on the boat. That being said, the locations were a little disappointing. They were good for swimming, but only the first one was really suited for snorkeling, and even then it was rather unexceptional.

CANCELLED (…just hours before tour) I booked this speedboat tour weeks before our cruise stop in Zadar, Croatia. I received all the confirmations- even receiving text messages CONFIRMING the day of the excursion. However, when my family of 5 arrived at the meeting place, the lady said there was NO record of our tour. We showed her: printed tickets, our Viator app confirmation and text messages with all of our confirmation numbers and payment. With the madness of hundreds of others trying to find their boat, she dismissed us and said, “You’ll have to contact Viator. I guess they cancelled it.” When we FINALLY got a person of the phone, they said our reservation was cancelled due to ‘bad weather’… which was a JOKE considering the sun was blazing, not a cloud in site and the boating scene was in full swing. Lots of other problems too, but I’m over-it. Do not book this tour. Even if you DO get to go, 2/3 of our stops were NOT as described.

We showed up on departure site without booking. Upon asking, we were able to join the group. Skipper Rocco took us safely to 3 stops although weather was not so good with quite some wind. (Although same should be only 2 stops) First stop Preko where Rocco advised where to go. Sadly unable to visit Calevac as the boatsman were not operating. 2nd stop was Osljak. Nice Island for a stroll. For the last stop, we went to Kali. Rocco advised us to eat some seafood at Srdela fish snack restaurant. Perfect spot for same. Good food for a nice price. Great guide, very flexible to our needs. Definitely worth the experience if you are visiting Zadar for the first time

They wanted to cancel the trip because of jumpy sea and weather and contacted us several time to ensure that the trip was not doable. It was not: all other operators were out on the sea, but this operator was not. Perhaps no other customers based on learned knowledge. Try another operator for smooth delivery of the service.

We took a tour with group of friends. It was a pleasent day on the sea. We brought some snack onboard and we had a chill afternoon. The skipper was very relaxed and friendly. We been advised where is the best place to leave the car for free. Basicly everything as described. Would definitly go again if we ever get back to Zadar. We got information about other tours and trips worth doing around here, so we are very happy.

A fun-filled day. During the cruise I met wonderful company. This is a great option for solo travelers to meet new friends. Other than that, the crew was very professional and helpful. I felt looked after from the moment I made the booking. I fully recommend it. Thank you.

A great little trip to discorer islands around Zadar area. We had a lovey, relaxed family afternoon. During our trip we were able to try snorkelings, as the masks were provided on board. The skipper was very polite and nice, did expalained exactly were we were going. The landscape is worth exploring especially off season , when its more quitet. All in all I do recommend.
